Even if we win it I'll be on my deathbed waiting for it to turn out that we've been doping or something.
Relegation battle is heating up nicely, glad Villa didn't win.
By Frustrated_me Go To Postm8, it's been over since late October - early December.
Congratulations, go out and enjoy the title.
Oh I know, I feel like I’m on crazy pills being the one Liverpool fan not shithousing around this. It’s a case of when, not if now, which is what I’m trying to work out.
I’m a little disappointed for our fan base really. I remember how much fun 13/14 was because we went balls out, even though it didn’t quite happen, and I feel like many will look back on our first PL title win and realise we all didn’t enjoy it anywhere near as much as we should have.
Last player to score 3 goals on his debut in the Bundesliga was Auba, also against Augsburg lol
If he scores as much as Auba, we'll be very happy with Haaland

Not enjoying it as much? M8... At the end of of the 17/18 season City were proclaiming themselves the best PL team in history, etc.
No one can tell the future, but there is a real chance that if you continue like this, Pep's City might end up playing second fiddle to Kloppo's Livarpool when you look back in a decade. You are playing top football, can't fucking lose for some reason, and are even doing it in Yurop on top. I'd be playing with myself after every game instead of the typical hitcher embarrassing himself after every ez win.

I can sorts understand the sentiment.
Waiting for so long and then to finally get it as such a canter might feel like a bit of anticlimax. In your head, that title win is full of drama and romance - which this title has more or less lacked.

imagine getting disappointed at winning the title for the first time in 20+ years because you were just too good at it

Ok, let me elaborate.
I’m not saying it’s an anticlimax because we’re playing so well.
I’m saying our fans aren’t enjoying themselves because basically 95% of them are acting like Hitch, whereas in 13/14 we went into every game singing that we were going to win the league as soon as it was in our hands.

Tell me how City are doing In the year 2033 in FM.
Sorry mate, it has literally taken me this long to find out where my FM screenshots are saved to.
I blame genes, alcohol and the Tory government.
Also, 2033 is a bit optimistic..
United should've consulted with scout Lambda, i would've told them months ago what they're finding out now
Bruno ain't worth the money being asked

By inky Go To PostManchester United fear Bruno Fernandes price could damage transfer plans for James Maddison and Jadon SanchoIt's fine to set out that you don't want to overspend. It actually makes sense too. But when you're the very side that has spent overinflated amounts to sign players, you just look like idiots.
Fairly sure we're not signing Bruno. Also fairly sure that we won't spend hugely this summer either despite still needing a squad overhaul. We seem to go between £50m - £70m net every summer. We might sign Grealish or Maddison this summer, but sell Pogba to balance the books. Which leaves us in the position we started. Too few midfielder of quality.
Still not sure if I look back on 13/14 fondly
That winning run between February and April is the most fun I've ever had being a Liverpool fan, but the way it fell apart was such a kick in the bollocks that it massively clouds those memories for me. Since the slip I've never been able to shake the pessimistic approach to any half-difficult match, or the disproportionate focus I put on the results of the teams around us.
Get the title won and I might finally be a believer. Wonder how much we'd care about unbeaten records and points totals if just winning the title wasn't such an elusive goal over the last 30 years.

When Woy was managing Ingurland I thought he was going senile. Now I think he's the smartest of us all.
I've said this before, but..
I'm old enough to remember when Liverpool dominated before. United fans would cheer like mad when we beat them in a single game because that's all we had.
Then Fergie changed all that.
Liverpool winning the title was bound to happen eventually.
Man City are just too inconsistent this season to stop them. When United won the title for the first time in however many years, I danced in the street.
I cannot deny Liverpool fans that sensation after all these years. Congrats.
And..
.. This isn't banter, I don't see how you can be caught now.

0-5 loss at home with 10 men and Blades grab a point at Arsenal. Good job I don’t bother with shite like dry January.

Apart from the top 3, this PL is so utterly devoid of quality. There's not a single team I see on TV that makes me excited to see a PL game outside of those 3.
Normally when Sunderland win I will watch any old PL shit coz I have the football buzz. But this is garbage. Relegate them all.

By bud Go To Postwooden, jorgensen actually scored. omfg. how.
with his crutches or just in a wheelchair?
By Feorax Go To PostWould you feel better about the outcome of 13/14 if you didn’t have as much fun during the run in?Probably
At the time it legit felt like we were destined to win the title with the winning streak and the way we beat City at home. If we'd just been hovering around the top from the start of the season I'd never have felt that.
Tammy Abraham has been a bit shit.
Sadly here comes Michy who isnt just a bit shit, but actual pure unadulterated shit.
