I’m a little disappointed for our fan base really. I remember how much fun 13/14 was because we went balls out, even though it didn’t quite happen, and I feel like many will look back on our first PL title win and realise we all didn’t enjoy it anywhere near as much as we should have.

No one can tell the future, but there is a real chance that if you continue like this, Pep's City might end up playing second fiddle to Kloppo's Livarpool when you look back in a decade. You are playing top football, can't fucking lose for some reason, and are even doing it in Yurop on top. I'd be playing with myself after every game instead of the typical hitcher embarrassing himself after every ez win.

Since the slip I've never been able to shake the pessimistic approach to any half-difficult match, or the disproportionate focus I put on the results of the teams around us.
Get the title won and I might finally be a believer. Wonder how much we'd care about unbeaten records and points totals if just winning the title wasn't such an elusive goal over the last 30 years.

Apart from the top 3, this PL is so utterly devoid of quality. There's not a single team I see on TV that makes me excited to see a PL game outside of those 3.

At the time it legit felt like we were destined to win the title with the winning streak and the way we beat City at home. If we'd just been hovering around the top from the start of the season I'd never have felt that.
