Dembele to LFC makes no sense to me. The lad has horrible discipline, is always injured and would not be an improvement over Mané/Salah.

Did you not see Mata today. Who even needs this Bruno lad.
By Wahabipapangus Go To Postwonder what arnie and his pepe and bruno arent targets of anyone, is going to say to this one.I was absolutely correct on both.
Deals desperately driven by the player's existing club & representatives, rather than those chasing them.
Pepe was slung around Europe and Liverpool - known for their shrewdness in the market, particularly with wide forwards - were linked repeatedly despite our sporting director literally writing a letter to say we couldn't give a fuck. Low and behold he signs for a club who fall for the bait, pay the ginormous fee, and it turns out Pepe is a complete load of shit. A Newcastle 2011 signing.
Bruno is a similar situation. Agent and club desperate to cash in at his highest value and tried their hardest throughout the summer. I'm sure there's some interest, just like eventually Pepe sold on the market, but it's quite clear after 112 Portuguese radio reports falsely claiming he'd joined [INSERT DESPERATE CLUB] that these stories are coming from third parties wanting to make as much money as possible.
again, that's not what you said though. last time when pepe was finally signed to arsenal (and not United), you even made the case for how he ended up at a small club, just like you predicted, and not a bigger elite club like united.
or have united only just become a desperate small boi club now

Playing the second fiddle, getting fit and getting disciplined by Klopp and his mates while he's slowly getting into it, would help him quite a bit.
Just a question whenever Klopp wants someone like that, but he's usually the type that takes problematic players and makes them better.
By Wahabipapangus Go To Postagain, that's not what you said though. last time when pepe was finally signed to arsenal (and not United), you even made the case for how he ended up at a small club, just like you predicted, and not a bigger elite club like united. No, to quote Nigel Pearson you are either very very silly, or absolutely stupid.

That makes Wijnaldum/Pogba, Pepe/Fernandes.
And yes, United are absolutely a desperate club. Credible people reported that United didn't like being constantly linked to Fernandes in the summer and he wasn't a target. Now here we are and Solskjaer is flying out. That's fairly desperate.
By Pennywise Go To PostIf they could get him for a decent price, why not?
His muscles are made of Jam.
By Arnie Go To PostBruno Fernandes and Nicolas Pepe aren’t actually targets for anyone. They’re the new William Carvalho or Jean Micheal-Seri.
oh yeah i see
By Arnie Go To PostThat makes Wijnaldum/Pogba, Pepe/Fernandes.
if you want to go that far back, about just thinking a player would be good (i mean, we have all given some real shit takes there) i have bad news about a markovic vs salah post, that we stumbled upon trying to figure out the origins when Bud managed to say Savage Gordon instead of Savage Garden for the first time. 💀
But I also still think Pogba is a better footballer than Wijnaldum, and that this will be shown as soon as he leaves United again.
By Arnie Go To PostHis muscles are made of Jam.He easily played a full season for us. So that shouldn't be a problem. Professionalism is the magic word. If they manage to help him and get some discipline into him, it won't be a huge problem.
Barca is just Barca. There's a wonderful german word for it called "Narrenfreiheit", meaning they let him do as he pleased. Works for a professional guy like Messi, but not for someone like Dembele.
I feel like Xavi is worse than Pep. Especially when it come to whining about how teams play against them.
I have to reiterate that if Bruno Fernandes comes to Man Utd, the team will have a formidable midfield overnight. Get Sancho in the summer.
By Marston Go To PostI feel like Xavi is worse than Pep. Especially when it come to whining about how teams play against them.Didn’t he once complain that the grass wasn’t cut properly or some shit? Wonderful player but seems like a twat.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostDidn’t he once complain that the grass wasn’t cut properly or some shit? Wonderful player but seems like a twat.. "I believe people like to see attractive football on a good playing surface, not long grass and hard pitches," Xavi said. "It's deplorable that there are no regulations in place for the state of the pitches."

We're in the wrong job.
By Marston Go To PostI feel like Xavi is worse than Pep. Especially when it come to whining about how teams play against them.Definitely. Pep will typically say things like "we tried to pass and make space but they stayed back too much it was difficult" or something along those lines
Xavi will more or less say we have witnessed football get murdered today by a team that doesn't know beautiful football
Can't wait
ignoring how xavi is just a greedy morally bankrupt cheater
his qatari side went from being the indisputable best to a side that has no idea how to defend and is currently 3rd in the table, the next pep he is not

Celtic match in a month time, would be really nice to beat them again. Was watching highlights from last time in 2006, and what a time that was.
Atiba Hutchinson. What a player. 37 very soon and just had an assist and a goal the other day for Besiktas. Also Hangeland, Wendt, Allback, Linderoth and Grønlkjær. Oof. What a team.

Barcelona are a banter club now. Imagine having the greatest player of all time on your books with fucking Valverde and Xavi as managers. What a waste.
Whoever can make us the best again
By Laboured Go To PostMartins pls confirm. Are we sending them lingard
Xavi is the epitome of "Barca DNA", a true cunt through and through, of course he would fit like a glove.
Can't wait for him complaining about the thickness of the grass, or the length of the pitch.
Incredible that the SuperCopa is what did Valverde, lol. TBH - the players were 100% at fault that game, I don't see what Valverde did wrong.

They still win leagues and go deep in the CL. Banter club is stretching it. They did come close when they paid all that money for Coutinho and Dembele though.
By Marston Go To PostThey still win leagues and go deep in the CL. Banter club is stretching it. They did come close when they paid all that money for Coutinho and Dembele though.Yep, credit where due they've been winning the leagues.
However, some seasons were super close with them just wining the league:
09/10 = 3 point difference
10/11 = 4 point difference
14/15 = 2 points difference (this one still hurts)
15/16 = 1 point difference
Once Messi is gone I don't see thier hold on the league continuing - their La Masia is in shambles and I don't see a move/shift away from the Messi dependency.
By Kidjr Go To PostYep league long over, liverpool too good. Kinda boring. Is this what serie a feels like?
Na, it isn’t a cunt team winning the league.
I am certain Barcelona wrapped up the league early and that is why at least one of those seasons madrid got close points wise.
United and Arsenal have taken Liverpool’s place as the club that every agent in their world links their players to to try and get them a move somewhere.
We were used to many times when we were shit to try and facilitate moves for bang average players across the world.
We were used to many times when we were shit to try and facilitate moves for bang average players across the world.
Liverpool have been the best in the league by far, every other team has been been below par.
Chelsea - Rebuilding phase, new manager, transfer ban etc
Arsenal - Uhh....Arsenal
United - Edwardo Woodwardo
Tottenham - Poch squeezed everything out of the squad, mentally shot.
City - Squad seems a bit burned out, still very good team but need to get rid of some of the seniors. Pep tinkers way too much sometimes.
Leicester - Impressive season, Rodgers is underrated.
Even Liverpool have not been near as fluid and exciting as last season but they grind out results and that is what matters. Everybody laughed about them not reinforcing their squad...but here we are.
