Personally I think we should host more football places, where you can go watch a woman get beheaded for showing too much thigh. #thotfreezone, or just some local homosexuals, after seeing your favorite footballer wear their pride armbands.

Worst part is that Kenedy made it onto the calendar

Just off the top of my head they've completely missed when United should have had a penalty against Arsenal in the game at Old Trafford when Kolasinac handballed in the penalty area but nothing was given.
doicare'd
By FortuneFaded Go To Post“They base their decisions purely on opinions” proceeds to give a purely opinion based excuseThe ball hitting Kolasinac's arm isn't an opinion it's a fact.
By Laboured Go To PostWhether it was intentional is subjective to all parties apart from Kolasinac.A penalty being given for a handball doesn't have to be intentional.
By Doicare Go To PostA penalty being given for a handball doesn't have to be intentional. So presumably, you think City should have been given a penalty when it hit Lindelof on the arm last month
By Doicare Go To PostA penalty being given for a handball doesn't have to be intentional.
Yes it absolutely 100% does. End of discussion.
By FortuneFaded Go To PostSo presumably, you think City should have been given a penalty when it hit Lindelof on the arm last monthYou really need to read what the actual rules of handballs are.
By Xpike Go To Postit 100% is otherwise attacking players would just try to aim for defenders' hands lmaoAgain feel free to read what the actual rules for handballs are.
Some of these replies are just embarrassing.

Deliberate handball remains an offense. The following ‘handball’ situations, even if accidental, will be a free kick/penalty:
The ball goes into the goal after touching an attacking player’s hand/arm (not relevant here)
A player gains control/possession of the ball after it has touches their hand/arm and then scores, or creates a goal-scoring opportunity
The ball touches a player’s hand/arm which has made their body unnaturally bigger
The ball touches a player’s hand/arm when it is above their shoulder (unless the player has deliberately played the ball which then touches their hand/arm)
So only the third one is arguably not really intentional but really that's bullshit because there's next to no situations in which that wouldn't actually be arguably intentional.
Just to give an example a player could be facing the wrong way in the box and have their arm stretched out wide, the ball hits their hand and that's a penalty. It wasn't intentional because they had no idea where the ball was but it's still a handball.
It could still be argued he was trying to make himself larger to block any potential incoming ball if he was truly standing in that way (and I feel we are entering the land of absurdity here).
Anyways, notwithstanding this would probably never happen in the professional game, how again is this relevant to the Kolasinac event where it would definitely have to have been deliberate?

By Laboured Go To PostIt could still be argued he was trying to make himself larger to block any potential incoming ball if he was truly standing in that way (and I feel we are entering the land of absurdity here).Kolasinac leans into the ball with his arm as well as raising the level of his arm to block the cross, that's a handball.

1. Looking at the footage in motion I don't think he is leaning his body in, in fact his torso posture is pretty straight when the ball connects; and
2. He is withdrawing his arm behind his torso as the ball approaches him.
3. The ball ricochets off... an Arsenal player before it gets to him.
All of these things will be why it was adjudged at minimum that there was no probably no deliberate handball, let alone a clear and obvious error by the ref.
I'm a United fan and I'm really not convinced we were screwed over by that decision at all.

By Laboured Go To Post1. Looking at the footage in motion I don't think he is leaning his body in, in fact his torso posture is pretty straight when the ball connectsThis is factually incorrect. Here is Kolasinac in the first frame of the video standing in a natural straight position, his shoulders are level and his arm is also straight by his side.
Here is Kolasinac as the ball hits his arm and his left shoulder is dipped towards the ball and his arm is now reaching outwards as well.
By Laboured Go To Post2. He is withdrawing his arm behind his torso as the ball approaches him.His arm moves as the ball hits him. Regardless of whether he starts to move his arm a millisecond before or after the ball hits him his arm is still stretched out which blocks the cross.
By Laboured Go To Post3. The ball ricochets off… an Arsenal player before it gets to him. This in a non point, ricochets are only a factor in making these decisions if they are at point blank range which this one is not.

Chelsea transfer target Timo Werner has a release clause worth at least €50 million (£42.6 million) in his contract but won’t leave RB Leipzig until the summer, reports Simon Johnson.Athletic. Also says he was alienated by Bayern dallying over a transfer.
Chelsea are just one of a number of teams who have expressed an interest and it is understood the Germany international would consider a move to the Premier League.
However, Werner will only want to join a club where he is guaranteed regular first-team football. It is believed he has already rejected an approach from Liverpool last year due to the presence of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino citing ‘There is no space for me to play’.
By Laboured Go To PostAbsolutely not.
By Laboured Go To PostWhew. Out until the end of April.
We have to make signings now. Otherwise our season is over, we can’t handle three competitions with 14 players.
I wonder if it's time for Spurs to cash in on Kane and ship him to United for £150m, lest he end up following the likes of Sturridge or Owen

Maybe a little soon for that but a well run club would already be having thoughts about it.
kane already lost all of his value, he's always injured and even when fit he is half the player he used to be
By Ushojax Go To PostA lot of rumors about Piatek to Spurs. For €35m he is yours. Aston Villa has bid €30m according to rumors.
