Young is far from the worst squad player we have, it's not that, it's just our general poor squad management meaning we are, at the 11th hour, offering him a one year extension. As a club we need to be so much better at this. The Youngs, Joneses and Lingards of this world should have been binned and replaced with better players years ago. And yet here we are offering Young an extension at the last possible moment because we have fucked it.
