Jones, Williams and Elliott will be players.
Thought Nat Phillips and Larouci where decent enough too!
Buzzing to see Ox come back quickly as well.
Would love Lallana to get a contract extension

By Fergie Go To PostI didn’t know they could let some of the men’s team play
How did Chelsea convince Yokohama to let them play in this shirt?
Why even bother having a sponsor at that point?

It's just one of those games. We hit the post twice, had 6 or 7 close chances and nothing...

they asked nicely. and Yokohama said yes, probably because they are about to start negotiating a new deal again.

the yellow socks are overbearing. would've benefited from more blue in 'em, imo.
By Feorax Go To PostElliot has early Sterling vibes about him. He's considered one of the premier talents of England's 2003 generation that has Barry (Barca), Musiala (Bayern), Dembele (Celtic), and Bellingham (Birmingham). The 2003 generation is probably the next best after the 2000 generation (Foden, Sancho, CHO). Still think Bellingham is the standout of that group, but Elliot and Barry impressed me more than Musiala.
By Killer7 Go To PostJones is goodJones was I felt the best talent after Greenwood for the 2001 English generation. However, in the last year Greenwood became the standout. Doyle, Garner, Laird, and Saka kind of caught up to Jones' and I couldn't tell you which is the best out of those.

By n8 dogg Go To PostKidA, pls tell me why gomes is dying
By Hitch Go To PostPacheco is better than all of them combinedGot nothing on Macheda.
Maybe Raiola thinks Lingard is a youth prospect and can make him the big bucks.
By n8 dogg Go To PostKidA, pls tell me why gomes is dyingHard to develop when you're not playing against better competition. He was supposed to go on loan last year, but Ole blocked it. Then he doesn't get many chances. Gomes hasn't been bad in his 3 starts, just quiet. Well I guess you can call that bad, but not as in a bad performance that's littered with bad touches, bad passes, and immature decision making. Chong has been putting in those types of bad performances. Other players put in similar quiet performances, but get chance after chance to impress.
I think Gomes should be given a chance in CM rather than AM. This is what Butt prefers. Gomes is never the kind of player who is going to force the issue and try to dribble past players. And in a side that struggles to attack, a 10 isn't going to have as many chances to create for others. In that sense, his touch and vision should help him make an impact (as a CM) over the less technically gifted midfielders in our squad. The onus would be on getting on the ball, retaining possession, and passing between the lines all of which Gomes can do.
I feel like Butt is a big believer in Gomes so I can imagine he's fighting on behalf of Gomes. On the other hand, McKenna was in charge of the u18s at a time when Chong lit up the u18s. In the past 1.5 years Chong has been kind of wank, which coincidentally is when McKenna became assistant to Mourinho and Ole.

Need new fetus players. We've got 3-4 promising players currently. Reyna is by far the most interesting. Moukuku is still young and I doubt he will score as many goals once he reaches the senior years. Pherai is kinda similar to Özil at times. Raschl is good and all, but he's German. So let's give them all some time.
Reyna will get more game time as we need a good winger. Bruun-Larsen is not gonna make it here and a loan or selling him would be wise.
Who remembers Claudio Reyna?
What a great player. Shame he was made of baked beans as he'd have had a properly decent career.

By Perfect Blue Go To Postlol going back two years to seeing people say Asensio is the next great global star is a good time.Asensio has been pretty damn great but was a complete dud alongside 99% of the team last year due to position change, manager changes, injuries, etc., then, this year, he got a season long injury.
I understand why FF thinks the way he thinks - he's pretty awful/garbage at football opinons, which he then passes on as cringy banter.
