The state of your club has little to do with players like Fabregas or Cazorla being too lightweight for the prem, so it's a pretty dumbfeeling to have m9.
We have enough issues with coaching and ownership to believe such nonsense is the source of a club failures.

Pirlo was soft but good luck snatching the ball off his frail feet
Bruno's stats imply that he's become quite technical so who knows

By Laboured Go To PostI think we've had so many transfer disasters over the last 7 years that I couldn't be confident that Christ / Messi himself would be any good with us. But Bruno has done Mikhi (at Dortmund) type numbers and certainly seems less of a soft boi.Fuck now I remember Miqui is an Arsenal player still

I can't even bear looking at how he's doing at Roma.

Fabregas was lightweighted only when he was starting with us in the early 2000s.
Please more respect with my feelings.
By Laboured Go To PostHe also claimed that he was going to see out his contract out of spite
And also that he despises Newcastle
Sad the way his life and career turned out, the severe depression seems to have taken a huge toll on him
I just really don't see us getting a striker in even on loan and those that are available are just shite.

Most Sunderland fans are extremely surprised he has gone there. He has regularly been seen at the SoL since he left, think he might even have a box for his family.
That quote is not real btw. Half of it is, the bit about despising them isn't.

Josh King? Fuck me he isn't near good enough. And is also a player Solskjaer managed 10 years ago when he was United reserve coach. Joke of a signjng.
There's a huge problem with our scouting if the best we can find is a former reserve player who wasn't good enough to make the grade 10 years ago.
Pogba doesn't count.

Article doesn't say but you'd have to assume it's for a loan if you're sane.
An actual good striker isn't available for purchase, in case that needed bluntly pointing out.
Even in the summer, the market for actual good strikers will be beyond brutal. Feel free to go buck wild at that point.

By Cleff Go To PostPls explainI have no idea if he is good or not, but we needed a backup for Theo Hernandez who has been very good so far. So somebody who wouldn't mind sitting on the bench a lot but who still has some potential.

Clearly Arsenal anticipated the great striker famine of 2020/21 when they bought Laca and Auba.
By Laboured Go To PostArticle doesn't say but you'd have to assume it's for a loan if you're sane. Our recruitment policy has been a shambles. Selling Lukaku was the right move. Not replacing him was the height of negligence. But King, Slimani et al simply aren't in any way suitable to even bring in for a few months. It's a waste of time and money.

That assumes Greenwood, an 18 year old in his first ever season of senior football, doesn't get injured or massively falls off. That would be a nigh on negligent assumption. Bringing in a loan striker that even gets 5 goals by May would be worth it.
By Wahabipapangus Go To Postlate night michy bid incoming?
Way higher quality than what we've been chasing. I'd take him for 6 months. He's better than acutally, literally nothing (/ Lingard).

It seems pointless to me.

I'm not excited about the options, but we're now literally talking about the very real possibility of having not a single available striker on our books compared to someone who is at least mediocre / competent for just the 5-6 months. Not even a difficult decision imho.
I honestly don't mind Shearer.
Jenas has the charisma of a used crisp packet.

By Laboured Go To Post£3 fucking million. About what we sold Maddo for. We get peanuts for our best younger players.
He was heavily linked with Pool but apparently one of their youth players is looking like a good prospect.
fucking dead at this red bull quote
Mr Mateschitz has never ever heard of Brøndby before, and he certainly has not spent a weekend there. So there are absolutely no plans to take over the club, so there is no need for their fans to worry
Paco gone... this whole thing still feels totally weird and I don't understand it.
It only took one not so serious injury to get from "Paco is in the best shape he's been in for a long time and is gonna challenge Lewandowski as the top scorer in the league" to "Hazard and Reus are kind-of-strikers and neither is playing particularly well but Paco will still be on the bench".
I'd really like to get a glimpse of what's going on internally as this isn't the first time or player this has happened to under Favre. It's a very similar situation with Zagadou or Götze, who both got dropped completely by Favre at some point.
