Another underserved result.
Two goals from deflections.
Despite having the entire first choice midfield out injured United still played better than Arsenal.
Can't wait to read all the posts saying Ole out while praising how well Arsenal played.

Gotta give props to Xhaka, played a great match. Hopefully without the schedule congestion we can do better things and training so teams don't get pick me ups on the second half

I know we aren’t supposed to respond to you, and I’ll ignore your usual lucky deflection stuff. But really not sure how you think we played better. 2-0 down at half time and we had one meaningful shot in the second half.

Garbage. This was worse than losing to Watford.
Beating City and Spurs saved his job, and might give him until the end of the season minimum because everyone under 4th decided to lose at the same time, so we are still best of the worst for some reason.
The reality is that yet again we are going to arrive to the summer trying to salvage anything from the season, utterly unprepared with half a team built by an outgoing manager, giving extensions to undeserving cunts, no DoF in place, and no plan for a successor with realistic targets. I really just hope we miss out on Europa this time around because I can't be bothered with another season watching us lose to that lot.

Just in pure stats here's the facts:
Shots
Arsenal 10 - United 10
Shots on target
Arsenal 4 - United 4
Possession
Arsenal 49% - United 51%
Corners
Arsenal 1 - United 4
Arsenal scored from two lucky breaks of the ball and played better in midfield (mostly in the first half) thanks to United having both their first choice midfielders (and best player) out injured.
The knee jerk posts about United being shit & Ole out are moronic.

The fact that there is still only 4 points keeping us out of fourth place is staggering. Ole is an average manager, but fuck me if he hasn't been royally screwed by the board.

At least we're beating Wolves.

Next 3 months are brutal. Don't want to go full Pele, but I'd be surprised if we win more than 2 games in that period.

By FortuneFaded Go To PostHow does that even happen?
Possession and SOT stats are so outdated for meaningful analysis that not even amateur/school teams use them anymore. Imagine being stupid enough to think having more corners means you played better.
The only reason these stats remain on broadcast and post match reports is tradition, and because they are the easiest to read for a casual audience. Clubs and stats firms don't even bother anymore.

Imagine being stupid enough to think having more corners means you played better.Imagine people posting United are shit and Ole out based on nothing but their opinion but thinking it's a fact just because they so. When confronted with actual facts they continue to just repeat their opinions before burying their head in the sand. Football is a good example of why the political world is so shit because people just do the same thing.
By Scum Go To PostShould have sold Pogba to the highest bidder in the summer. So, basically to Frustrated for a half-eaten tube of Pringles. IDK about that m9. Moyes banned chips from the cafeteria for a reason.
RVP is very critical of the midfield. What's the point in having speedsters like Rashford and Martial if you don't spot their runs and play them the ball? It's Fred, Lingard and Matic. The only one of any worth is Fred, but he's a ball winner and someone who can maybe play a quick, incisive pass when on the counter. He cant dictate the pace of a game or play around set defences. The other two are wholly shite.
Sven having said that, I'd the team were properly set up, we could get around having a pish midfield.

Love Rash and Martial but they ain’t RVP either. That bit from Rio can cut both ways. They both need to buck their ideas and effort off the ball way up. Haven’t really had anyone that knew how to get open for a midfielder since Ibra got injured

That's been a problem for years.
