We need term limits and both House/Senate to be 4-years. The House being a 2-year gig without term limits just means they are constantly campaigning to fundraise and keep their job instead of legislate. It's even more insane given how many breaks they get through the year.

Term limits for Congressman/Senators kind of invites a host of new problems to the equation. In Canada we have term limits for Supreme Court justices and I think that is a no brainer to have in the US. I think more of a stink needs to be raised about money in politics and super PACs. Seems like that was talked about a lot 4-5 years ago but every candidate this cycle seems to have passed it by.

It would need to be weighed heavily and combined with other reforms.
i like pressley a lot, but you can't be out here handing out clips saying you want to see prisoners get priority on vaccinations. regardless of how you feel, that's just plain dumb politically anywhere in the world.

It would need to be weighed heavily and combined with other reforms.I'm more of the mind that term limits would allow our politicians to keep up with that revolving door rather than be completely passed by as they are now. You've got people who are completely in bed with them (like tech and agriculture) and those who are essentially illiterate - and they basically can't be touched.
