Got a couple buck shot 3” mag shells hidden just in case
I’ve been hunting with my dad since I was 11.
By diehard Go To PostFender probably has ornate Beretta shotguns or some shit
The pump is the classic Remington 870
The over under is a nicer Browning Citori
Beretta stocks are too short and their ornate shit is ridiculously priced

Top tech leaders and other billionaires would be forced to hand over billions of dollars in wealth they've gained during the coronavirus pandemic under a new bill introduced by Sens. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., Ed Markey D-Mass., and Kirsten Gillibrand D-N.Y.Lessgo
The "Make Billionaires Pay Act" would impose a one-time 60% tax on wealth gains made by billionaires between March 18, 2020 and Jan. 1, 2021. The funds would be used to pay for out-of-pocket healthcare expenses for all Americans for a year. As of Aug. 5, the bill would tax $731 billion in wealth accumulated by 467 billionaires since March 18, according to a press release. If passed, the bill would tax billionaires on wealth accumulated through the end of the year, however.
By diehard Go To Postan 870? a man of the people
Citori pretty bourgeois though
It’s my “grown up” shotgun. The 870 was a gift when I was 12.

Bird hunting tends to be In fields. I don’t hunt large game
By reilo Go To PostLessgoHouse doing work, hard time believing something like this ever gets through even with a blue Senate and Biden. Billionaires lead us
Might not even pass in the House tbh, during a pandemic
By zfzmikey Go To PostI like Star Trek too.
Star Trek had some legit horrifying weaponry in the hands of people. Every faction's basic phaser weapon, on full, literally evaporated people. Today's cops would love that, leaves no evidence behind.
Yeah that always bugged me. I know it's a vfx/ratings thing but I feel like some aspect of Starfleet's ethics would require officers to leave some kind of visible remains of people you executed rather than effectively wiping them from existence
For Klingons too, your enemies had honor if they were fighting. What honor is there in having your physical form obliterated forever?

So like the postmaster general is fucking with mail delivery heading up to an election in a pandemic and the house is sending stern letters cause the senate is lost.
The Trump admin also ended the census a month early despite not having surveyed 60mil people.
The Senate, meanwhile...
The Senate, meanwhile...
I can't believe a body built specifically to impede the will of the popular majority would be so easily corrupted
By Xpike Go To Postthat's why they set phasers to stun m8So like if the all-the-way-up settings are for melting rocks and shit, why is there no safety mode that engages immediately when its pointing at organic tissue

Lol but why
Teachers in America are treated better than they are in Canada, and we'll prove it by killing them all with COVID! U-S-A! U-S-A!

If the transporter can calculate the composition of atoms in a single individual or object right down to the microorganisms and dust particles, you can instantly do the calculations as to whether the matter in front of the phaser blast you're about to unleash would be considered a lifeform. Theoretically
Didn't Star Trek: Picard take away most of the values and ideas TOS & TNG started anyway?
Poverty, using robots as mindless slaves, the Federation having a war fleet etc ...

Yeah, Picard kinda sucked. Not like shitty, wrongheaded Star Trek is unprecedented though
Oh so these weren't Starfleet/future society values at all it was all just the personal code of one dude lol ok thanks I hate it

I couldn't sleep last night so was watching some TNG, specifically the "The Measure of a Man" episode that is supposed to be the inspiration and base for the Picard series. You watch Picard and it feels like they gave it a cursory glance and didn't really understand the questions that episode was asking of it's audience.
Just remembered they tried the same thing in Voyager, with the episode Author, Author, over whether the holographic doctor had any rights to his own work as he wasn't considered enough of a person for art, but enough of a person to use Mk1 holograms for menial labour.
I saw the RLM recap of their favourite TNG episodes and indeed the episode where they argue if Data deserves rights because they consider him human but Mannix considers him property was also crapped on by Picard.
By Fenderputty Go To PostThe post office does t need to generate revenue you Fucking douche bagWait, what are postage stamps?
By diehard Go To PostWait, what are postage stamps?Pretty sure Fender is arguing that the USPS should be a public utility not a revenue generating operation.
By reilo Go To PostPretty sure Fender is arguing that the USPS should be a public utility not a revenue generating operation.Right, but you can be a public utility and still generate revenue. Water and power would be the examples.
yes, but the USPS's main purpose should be to get the mail across the country, not figure out how to maximize revenue
By diehard Go To PostWait, what are postage stamps?
Are you being intentionally obtuse
By diehard Go To PostRight, but you can be a public utility and still generate revenue. Water and power would be the examples.
Okay so you are being intentionally obtuse .. Wake me when a state can create its own money. This is a weak as fuck excuse to abdicate constitutional responsibilities during a pandemic. Blow up the deficit for donor class tax cuts but tighten the deficit belt for mail delivery
Eh... I'm not following the postal situation at all because I doubt its that simple and there's only so many things I can force myself to learn regarding The Great American Clusterfuck.
By Not Go To PostWhy is anything a public utility? There's money to be made. Arm I the only one seeing this????Sustainability is a thing and greatly influences which public services and utilities remain a constant, improve, or at the very least evolve with our landscape.
By Fenderputty Go To PostAre you being intentionally obtuseMy guy, say what you mean. The post office generates revenue and always has.
