A SHIP carrying fireworks? My guy, if that was true nobody in the entire civilized fucking world would allow that thing on international waters or near its ports. FOH.

We confiscated these high explosive materials, what should we do with them?
Just keep them in the city for a few years

By Laboured Go To PostGODDAMMIT PYLE, you're not meant to store the fireworks next to the C4!!High-explosive material: literally just vibing
Bold strategy
By Xpike Go To Postwell theres a lot of nuclear waste thats just kinda there in the worldUsually that stuff is stored in far away, sparsely populated areas. These dudes storing that shit right near a densely packed area. makes no sense

I like tbis video because the guy taking the video almost looks like he’s willing to take the shock wave to the face for internet fame lol
We've had our fair share of fireworks explosions over the years (it's almost our annual tradition), and they have never looked like that. It's never a big boom, it's just constant peppering. (tbf, there is some of that at ground level in the beginning of the video).
That was something big afterwards. Can't really picture what an actual nuke looks like.

I’m no ballistics expert but the way those buildings were just completely annihilated makes me doubt that it was just fireworks.
By domino Go To Postits bad... and I can't emphasize that enough
But neighboring countries will all be pouring in support at least whereas they were about to implode economically and go into full on upheaval mode just before this all happened. Its all sus as fuck. The immediate "its a fireworks warehouse :D pls don't be alarmed" as if its perfectly normal to store them right across the street from malls, hotels, and restaurants anywhere in the world.
Can't help but feel that countries are coming in to do more than just help temporarily and be on their way though.
Checked in with an old college prof of mine on his family in Lebanon and they are thankfully ok, although their apartment is heavily damaged.
By domino Go To PostThat looks like the aftermath of an atomic explosion, wtf
“Highly explosive materials,” seized by the government years ago, were stored where the explosions occurred, said Maj. Gen. Abbas Ibrahim, the head of Lebanon’s general security service, according to the National News Agency..
Roofs were being ripped off in the oncoming wave. Shit looked like the explosion in “Independence Day”

and this is before the looting starts along with what's left of their government pointing fingers while slurping off their favorite foreign aid rep. this is about to spiral considering all that was going on
