The connotations that come with it have always been entirely negative as far as I can tell, so it would seem odd to. But they must do if they openly despise the idea of antifa. Always assumed that they'd deluded themselves into thinking that they weren't. Obviously the alt-right wear it proudly, even when they're hiding their faces.
