A mountain lion that had been roaming around a Monrovia neighborhood for days was tranquilized after it was found Thursday morning under a house.
Monrovia police and California Department of Fish and Wildlife agents responded to the foothill neighborhood at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains. The big cat was under the house Wednesday night before coming out and walking down a street.
Monrovia is a not small suburb of LA that runs up against the foothills of the mountains behind. Shit like that is pretty rare.

You gotta be able to pass your kid off to someone else for a while just for sanity sake. In the states that means paying a fuckload of money or pushing them off on inlaws lol. But I've thought long and hard about how much children need from people and how much they don't even help themselves. And yeah people built and bred to just be moms but don't have much outside of that suddenly realizing it's a 24/7 hour gig is like going from go karting to formula 1 with nothing in between. Just the amount of not communicating stuff between couples is high, then what people expect from each other post kid, that convo rarely comes up.
