I only eat one meal per day as it is, and I'm willing to do keto-friendly choices on snacks and cut back on carbs in meals (for example, skip the rice when I order Chinese), but cut them out entirely? Not going to work. Can't find enough options out there. Besides, I only weigh a buck 50. (Just trying to shed what little body fat I have which is unfortunately right at the waist, and isn't even visible to the world, only to me.)
tl;dr: none of the above matters to anyone, this is my journal post.

I eat Chinese from 3-5 times per week, and considering I only do one meal per day, the rice is kind of like a given of being something to reduce. Maybe not eliminate entirely... at least not each time. Who knows.

Not really, no. That said, my "breakfast" snack, which would be in the afternoon because I wouldn't eat in the morning, would be like 2 oatmeal creme pies (2 x 170 cal) and a protein drink (160), totaling 500 calories. Then I wouldn't eat anything until dinner. I can cut out poor miss little debbie and replace her with a nut blend (which is what I did the past two days... while also skipping the protein drink because keto seems to frown upon that, too). That would cut carbs and some calories on top of it. Then just do a sensible dinner. And skip sugary soft drinks, even though I'd really only do a can of Coke (140 calories) per day, anyway, and not even every day. Maybe a bottle (240) every now and then on a weekend.
So, yeah, revamping snacks could reduce carbs tremendously (something like 52 to 87g of carbs mostly gone) and calorie consumption down to around ~350 (from 640-740) outside of that lone meal. Lose the rice, more carbs gone. But I like fried chicken (enough carbs in the crust to bomb keto), and even the sauces in Chinese food often use starches for thickening. I don't actually go to PF Chang's, but just using their nutritional info as a guide, nearly everything has 40+ grams of carbs, and keto's carb budget for the entire day is 25-50. On top of that, the starch would be classified as an added sugar, also frowned upon. And even accepting those 40g otherwise (if it's that low), it's still hard to avoid carbs entirely when snacking, unless you're purely doing fat bombs (and, also, keto doesn't really make room for my protein drink, despite having only 1g carb).
Too much nonsense when I'm only trying to drop maybe 5-7 pounds, in the grand scheme of things.

Exception are veggies and meat (I only eat beef and every once in a while a bit of pork. Chicken only on rare occassions).
Leaving out bread, rice, potatoes, pasta? No chance.

Chipotle is great for keto. Wingstop. Jersey mikes does their subs in a tub.
Mission has a low carb tortilla. Look into edamame pasta. I even found a low carb pizza crust.
Lots of snacks and sweets available with sugar alcohols. Shits easy now
