Most have been for work the rest i did on various road trip and some i just went so i got all 50 lol.
By reilo Go To PostIt's crazy expensive to stay and eat out. Outdoor activities are a gajillion miles away and you get almost pathetic amount of value compared to other countries (eg snorkling in Hawaii versus Mexico), the cities are impossible to navigate unless you have a car and when you do rent a car it's impossible to navigate because everyone sucks at driving in America. Americans expect tourists to know English along with expecting locals to know English outside of America. The towns and especially port cities are far more beautiful and culture rich.
America is the turds to vacation compared to other countries.
I disagree on most of it but that might be because from our end food and hotels in the US are crazy cheap. Everybody speaks english anyway. Going to the US and doing a road trip is the dream for most people that live here and it's still the thing to do for honeymoons and most including me love it

Big cities like LA, SF, DC, NYC, etc are crazy expensive.

Hawaii was way better until the Hurricane killed a bunch of coral in the 90's. Think it was Iniki …
They just had another one recently that did a number on the natural reefs.
Intercontinental flights are basically free in europe these days, that's true and that's why going to spain or france or italy is nothing special. You can do that anytime, going to the US is still considered very cool and something to experience. People also love to try all the pop culture stuff you see in movies and tv shows that we don't have. Grass is always greener, i guess.
Feel similarly about Toronto. Kind of shit to visit but to live here is amazing. Rest of Canada, though, like the Rockies, the northern territories, the maritimes, and old areas like Montreal and Quebec City, are fantastic to visit.

The popculture stuff is highly overrated when you are inundated with bullshit like the Kardashians. It's cheap culture for entertainment profit.
Yo why is gas so expensive in poorer communities? You guys were talking about the difference between grocery stores and I think DY said how shit is cheaper in the more affluent cities. Gas is insane
With T-Mobile Tuesday’s + Fuel Rewards I’m saving 40c a gallon. In the poorer areas around me even with the 40c discount gas is still 2.60/gallon but if I go to one of the rich cities around me, it’s 1.99/gallon. Gas at most places around me isn’t even 2.60 without the 40c discount. I used to go to BP and it fluctuates between 2.47-2.52

I love all the north american countries. Lots of beautiful places and food everywhere. Mexico, Canada and the US. I would go there anytime.
dying to go to New Orleans during one of their food festivals
By Fenderputty Go To PostI would like to go see DC and NY City.DC was lovely, I spent one day there for Dave Chappelle and loved it. (but I love everything lmao)

By Slavic Go To PostToronto is great! I love visiting.
By Laboured Go To PostGenerally enjoyed my multiple visits to Toronto. Hamilton…. not so much.I'm really glad to hear that.
Always thought our touristy sites were kind of wack here. If you know locals and they show you around then it's definitely awesome.

By Yurt :3 Go To Postdying to go to New Orleans during of their food festivals
Worth it! Went last year and came back a bunch of kilos heavier.
By Yurt :3 Go To Postdying to go to New Orleans during one of their food festivalsFood festivals are more of a thing in areas outside of NOLA, tbh. The festivals in NOLA are usually based around music, Mardi Gras, or just random parades.
If anything, you may want to time a visit based on what seafood is in season.
By Laboured Go To PostGenerally enjoyed my multiple visits to Toronto. Hamilton…. not so much.Vancouver is better.
By Laboured Go To PostSummerwear sorted.
The shoulder pads might be worse than the pants tbh
was in Canada briefly for a conference years ago and I couldn't find decent weed anywhere. No sale

By Yurt :3 Go To Postso I heard! I love that even morefyi, there is a Parade Department part of the city police and you can basically work with them to plan your own mini-parade pretty much any time you like.
Went to New Orleans last weekend for Mardi Gras. Didn't get to stay nearly long enough. Went to parades. Lived. It was good fun. Food was gr8. Bourbon street is demonic af.

By Yurt :3 Go To Postwas in Canada briefly for a conference years ago and I couldn't find decent weed anywhere. No saleWhat the hell. Where were you?
Countries are huge (especially the US) breaking down what its like to visit in a couple sentences probably isn't great. Me and Kibner might live in the same country, but an entirely different world.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostWhat the hell. Where were you?it was in Calgary

4 of us went
One friend sent me a message at 530a. Simply said: "i need help. Getting robbed".
Went over to get the 🍑 one day. Went back on Sat and Kibners goons ran up in the spot. Threw his wallet and chains under the sinks, so they didn't get that. But yeh.
Other than it was dope. Ass everywhere, whew.

Literally or figuratively robbed lmao
By Slavic Go To Postisn't bourbon street touristy trash? i tried to sverve around it as much as i could.
Had to see what it was like myself. Truly a demonic place. Feel sorry for those who gotta clean that place up.
By Slavic Go To Postisn't bourbon street touristy trash? i tried to sverve around it as much as i could.Yeah. Being on Decatur along the levee has all the bars and dining you really need. Not really any strip clubs, though, which are aplenty along Bourbon.
Also, you get around the smell of piss and vomit that pervades Bourbon Street at all times.
By Smokey Go To PostLiterally
Brehs ran in with the straps
I would got this and thought … "Man's has time to text, he's not fooling me. You learn not to fall for strippers when you're 18." and then rolled over and went back to sleep.

I couldn't help him anyway. He took the car 🤷♂️. We were staying down in the area and didn't need it, so he took off lol
By Slavic Go To Postsee that's why i'm not going there. everyone there knows i'm easy pickings.
sun's down, man's home.
There was a LOT of people getting their phones jacked on Bourbon st. All you saw were phone cases littered in the ground. Kept my shit in front pockets at all times.
If you dont have any kind of awareness it might not be the spot for you lol
nobody tries robbing me because I look 16 ;_;
By Kibner Go To PostI'll sell you tickets to NBA Pelicans games at face value.deal!
