Yeah landlords can suck my dick. Only rule I’ll follow is no pets but other than that fuck off.
You’re gonna keep the “security deposit” whether I leave the house in immaculate condition or not so what’s the point?
You can literally rent an apartment and never even use it, meaning it’s in the same condition they gave it to you, and they’ll still find an excuse to keep that money

Yeah I learnt that part about security deposits the hard way. Trusted landlords with that too many times lmao.
Was really surprised in Norway though. The law there (as the landlord explained it at least) have you pay the security deposit onto a bank account, that neither the landlord or yourself can access. Then in the end if the landlord wanted more than you thought was reasonable, they would have to go through court, otherwise you would get all your money back or whatever you agreed with the landlord was reasonable.

40? On a good day maybe, January the average is around 24 fahrenheit.
Oslo isn't that difference weather wise from Denmark, so a bit eh for me. Very nice salary though, even for my dumb ass.

They have 1 bedrooms going for 540k USD preconstruction here in decent locations. It's insane because of foreign investors. Don't know how anyone making under 100k USD can afford that and that's the problem because a majority of the population makes below 60k USD.
Landlords are taking a beating over here. Some crazy deals in the city for apartments now - but really, still overpriced and only look reasonable in comparison to pre-COVID levels lol.

it's the same here in switzerland. they have to get a third party to come in and look at it if they want it.
Got ourselves our mini-Fritzel 😔. If only he got that Super Nintendo and some Merio.
A man in his 40s was taken to hospital by ambulance after a relative alerted the police. The man who came to the hospital had sores all over his body, substandard language and was missing all the teeth in his mouth. According to information to Aftonbladet , his mother has kept him imprisoned for almost 30 years. The story was discovered after a relative alerted the police when the mother was not home.
The man was found, severely malnourished with permanent wounds, lying on a blanket in the middle of the floor. In the hall hung two almanacs, one from 1995 and one from 1996.
