I’m tired of YouTube and these 20 minute ads. I’m just trying to watch some shit at works cuz it’s dead.
i get literally the same ad every time and im tempted to get youtube plus or whatever it is but i know that's their plan
20 minute ads make me not feel guilty about blocking ads on YouTube. Same for ads you can't skip. And ads spread throughout videos. I'll watch a short ad at the beginning, that's it, that's all I'm willing to do.
For content creators, if you can get sponsors and read your own ads in your videos and keep it relevant or interesting, that's cool.

an 8 minute video is the requirement now, it used to be 10 minutes which lead to a lot of exactly 10 minute length videos from creators... sometimes they would just insert static images just to reach that length.
