it doesn't have the godly animation but it was still a good season, enjoyed it.
I enjoyed the hell out of it. First time reading the manga weekly and I am glad I did. Can’t wait to take the time to read the whole thing in tankobon form.
I understand that it was fucking long as fuck, but I think the last 10-12 years of leading up to the end of Wano really paid off.
It was great seeing everyone in the same place again and getting their moments to shine. There was some good character development, plenty of action, interesting flashbacks, and a whole lot of lore dropped.
I think the run since 1000 has been near perfection. Every chapter left me wanting more.
As Wano comes to a close, all the Straw Hats are now in a position that you know they can handle what is coming till the end. That was the main goal of Wano, and I think it was done it a great way.
Even if it is a bottom tier arc, it is still better than 90% of the other manga arcs I have read.
Oda stays the GOAT:))

Wano is a top 5 One Piece story arc. It tied up storylines that were introduced like 15 years ago and delivered on the Kaido plotline which was introduced as soon as they entered the New World.
We're very much entering the climax of the entire series now, but the Wano arc also answered and introduced new, intriguing plot points about the One Piece; Ancient Weapons; Void Century: and Joyboy which will carry the series to its finale.
Also, the Kozuki Oden flashback is possibly the best Oda has ever written. Maybe only Nico Robins tops it.
