By s y Go To PostDungeoun Meshi ep1 preview. Another quality fantasy manga looks to be getting a good adaptation.is this worth a read?
anyways read the entire jujutsu manga, i still don't get the purpose of the culling game and im glad that's over, shame anime onlys will have to wait until like 2026 to see what happens after
By DY_nasty Go To Postis this worth a read?I think so. It's been a few years and I haven't read more than a couple dozen issues, but it is good. Won't really make you feel emotions other than bemusement, but that's ok. It's great for many other reasons.
By Call Sign: Apollo Go To PostKids on the slope tho

The new OP is decent. Can't say I think either song has really fit the show though but I guess anime OPs really only exist to market a new pop song.
@eldritch please don't read the official JJK release this week. Werry at it again

So happy that classic fantasy is back with shows like Frieren, Dungeon Meshi, and Nozomanu Fushi no Boukensha (Undead Adventurer). Fucking tired of all these garage Isekai's that have no real end every planned.
Frfr Lunatic.
It's wild to me that the translations have been this off / bad.

By Call Sign: Apollo Go To PostPSY Honda called Toshiyuki Inoue the best animator in JapanNot surprised. Honestly, that title can go to Inoue, Honda, Okiura and a small handful of others. Can't post about Inoue without dropping a gif of his work though:

Sat down and read Sakamoto Days, I'm 100 chapters in. It's a fun time, Kanaguri is absolutely insane 🤣
JJK chapter 247
Just realized Higuruma is the potential man who actually lived up to his potential. Fuck Megumi hope he never comes back.
Also, putting it out here that all the dying words being relayed to Yuji from his Grandfather to Higuruma are actual curses that will manifest in some truly significant manner. "Help people" might actually be a curse limiting Yuji's output. Like Sukuna being impressed with his strength when Yuji was laying hands on him solo dolo but then calling him boring when he teamed up with Maki. Or how he's burdened with the dying words/curses of his fallen comrades tying into his cog mentality which might somehow leading to enlightenment.
Would fit right in with the not-so-subtle Buddhist concepts Gege's been working with since chapter 1.

I don't normally complain about art, but CSM's was difficult to follow, this week.
Sad times in the story.
Man just wants an Oscar winning film...by any means. Lol

By domino Go To PostDorohedoro S2 got announcedI actually finished the manga and enjoyed it so much. Wild story 😭
By EldritchTrapStar Go To PostI don't normally complain about art, but CSM's was difficult to follow, this week.Fujimoto does not want to draw this shit lmao. Even with his assistants leaving, the first couple arcs of CSM2 had some nice art here and there but the past handful of chapters have looked super rough.
Sad times in the story.
Outside of the occasional sick double spread, CSM's action has never been super interesting or even all that legible but it's straight up bad nowadays. Everything being drawn with seemingly the same line weight in part 2 only exacerbates the issues. This panel being one of the worst offenders of the latest chapter.
The speedlines honestly look like a mistake and the hatching(?) on the bent leg looks something he scribbled out but forgot/didn't have time to redraw. Reminiscent of how One Piece's manga art fell off.
I can't imagine Fujimoto is working without assistants, even with his flexible schedule it's a tough ask to deliver 20 pages every 2 weeks. It certainly feels like it's just him these days. Even without his godlike assistants, he can usually draw a nice background but that's been lacking too.
If his Look Back one shot is representative of how he feels about CSM, I'm surprised he didn't give up at least the drawing duties for CSM2. He's said publicly he liked Aka Akasaka's decision to only handle the writing for Oshi no Ko, after doing both for Kaguya Sama.
Meanwhile Tatsu(former CSM assistant) has been dropping Dandadan chapters on Xmas, New Years etc. God like.
Metallic Rouge, new original anime by BONES and their 25th anniversary project. 1st episode aired today. Being produced by the production line that helmed the Eureka Seven Hi-Evolution movie trilogy. So expect the best 2D animation the anime industry can muster. That alone makes it worth watching.
I was not moved by the first episode at all
So far ToG is the only one of these that hit for me
and The Breaker but they’re never making a show out of that
