By domino Go To PostWhat’s the deal with the dimming in certain sequences of this JJK episodeIt's very common in anime. Due of the timeslot that JJK season 2 airs in Japan, fast moving sequences are automatically dimmed and sometimes ghosted to prevent seizures(because of an old pokemon episode). This is all done automatically via software.
Season 1 did not suffer from this because it aired at a later timeslot. Crunchyroll could request the raw episode as they are not adherent to Japanese TV regulations but Crunchyroll does not care.
The undimmed/ghosted sequences will be available when the corresponding blu ray releases and someone uploads it online. For comparison, this sequence from episode 3:
GOAT.
So many things paid off and were fulfilled. Attack on Titan was a quarter of my life. The re-watch will be incredible with the complete picture.

The pseudo time travel/future memories shit was the point of no return in hindsight. He 100% had no end in mind when that was introduced.

This man had Levi beating the shit out of Eren for years; Levi's teeth specifically getting knocked out of his mouth. And what do you know? Levi did it again in the final moments of Eren's life. Genius stuff.
the legend of eren yeager, a guy who committed genocide and war crimes, then broke down and wished he had married his sister and forbid anyone else from doing it

The average anime viewer is so used to shit barely moving and having weight that they thought this was fucking 3DCG.
Damn. Even the music selection went wild, this episode.
The extended Toji vs Megumi fight was great. Jogo vs Sukuna is absolutely ridiculous.

I've been watching react content for this season, and it's been fun seeing the opinions switch on shit like how strong Jogo actually is and initially folks thinking Sukuna was on Kurama vibes (LOL).
By DY_nasty Go To PostKibnerI thought the story had him to the point where he gave up boxing cuz of all the concussions? Are they retconning or just ignoring that?
Ippo readers
It's happening
Ippo is a natural southpaw fuuuu
By Kibner Go To PostI thought the story had him to the point where he gave up boxing cuz of all the concussions? Are they retconning or just ignoring that? He's been gradually working back towards the ring by helping out his old rivals as a sparring partner and mentoring on the side. I wouldn't say its a full retcon because everyone legit hates he stopped boxing, but there's a clear acknowledgement of how much damage Ippo took in his fast paced, short career. For example, other guys have moved up and down in weight since then.
Also, before this Takamura pulled Ippo aside after noticing his enthusiasm for boxing returning and told Ippo he's a scumbag for getting coach's hopes up lol
9 episodes into Ippo, think I'll switch to the manga. Feels like the pace is super slow and I want to see if ots exclusive to the anime.
