By DY_nasty Go To PostTokyo Mirage Sessions is just boring as hell. Far bigger sin than simple terrible weebery.I remember it being pretty different from Persona. It was still about elemental weaknesses but I enjoyed the combo aspect of the battle system.
Edit: I'm shocked you liked the combat PB. I thought it was the worst aspects of most new Persona games.

By Vini.lad Go To PostHe's incredible. On the party post Sydney World Tour in february, he approached me on the boat party we were having an started to speak in english (I could barely understand him) talking about stars and constelations, pointing to their location on the beautiful sky of Sydney. And still you betray him by playing Forza. Vinches pls.
Incredible night.

hey Miles Morales is super fun. Shame it's probably gonna end in like 5 hours lmao
I don't hate no outright villains but come on, I NEED at least one super villain here…

Hmm OK the only platinums I have for any game are Spider-Man, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and Spider-Man Remastered
Everything else is tedious and daunting

By Not Go To PostYou can get 20-30 hours out of that game easily if you platinum itI go out of my way to NOT platinum my games
an accidental trophy pop up is still fun though
By faridmon Go To PostI really don’t like the fact that you can bed married women in Valhalla and that’s ok.never play Crusader Kings

I have 3 platinums as well: Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, FFVII Remake, and Miles Morales. Former two I only platinumed because I was obsessed with those games.
its different in AC because that's your homie's wife
like damn really? feels like its the dio option - not some legit love interest

Arkham Asylum and Uncharted 1 were that last games I remember platinum. Those Batman challenge rooms were :bliss:
Oh, and Into the Breach on PC. Subset are god tier designers and the achievements reflect that.

I played Resistance 2 multiplayer for 50+ hours to get the OMGWTFBBQ trophy which needed 10K kills.
While writing this post I looked it up and apparently you cna unlock that trophy by just beating the last level on the highest diffculty
edit: nvm I forgpot the name of the trophy and the 10k kills was required for the Killing Machine trophy/platinum.
so I guess it was worth it

I'm also one trophy away from the platinum in Devil may Cry 5 but I require the use of my right hand at the moment.

and I feel like platinuming a game you like will give you closure, let it be an open wound that you can scratch whenever you want.

Think AA is only game I have ever platinumed :lol
I generally can't do cheevo chasing, it ruins the game for me.
Not a fan of trophies/achievements in general. Though I do have a handful platinums. Think the first one was from a trash Terminator game on the PS3, followed by Resogun, The Witcher 3 and Fallout 4.
By faridmon Go To PostI really don’t like the fact that you can bed married women in Valhalla and that’s ok.Art imitates life.
only platinums i got were Ass Creek 2, Arkham Asylum and inFamous 1, and never again. I think the online achievements in AC: Brotherhood snapped me out of the whole thing.
By Daz Go To PostVikings were cunts. The issue I have is that the game is not portraying Vikings as cunts and I wish they did.
In fact they are making Eivor to be this noble warrior who is helping out the poor, defending cities from rogue assassins and even helping this weakling of a king to gain kingdom.
The next scene, he is sleeping with his wife’s brother.
By DY_nasty Go To Postyou're not alone. that kinda threw me the fuck off tooThe big issue I have is Ubi being selective of their portrayal of Vikings.
If you wanna point to them being terrible people who normalises infedilty and slaughter then why romanticise pillaging and racism while ignoring and even denying rape and slavery.
Also I would have been ok with it all if it came from another company other than Ubi because they are just fuckers of highest order.
By syquil Go To PostSpoilers wtf dudeSorry, if it helps it’s like fourth chapter of the game.
Now I'll never resume my playthrough
Sorry again
Making coffee in P5R gives you 'charm' points. what kind of bullshit is that?
Most of the baristas I know are dullards.

There was a time, peak trophy hunter time, where I wouldn't even think about buying a game that I enjoyed because there were no trophies for it.
Nowadays I'm cured but I still enjoy to be a completionist and if the platinum is achievable without too much headache, I'll do it, like Ghost of Tsushima, for example.

killing people left and right is fine in vidya, but doing a ryan giggs isnt? disgusting
I did it for Uncharted 2, to get all the multiplayer skins.

In case people aren't aware, shagging you brother's wife in that game is a choice and not forced upon you
But then you're an invader who sails around raiding monasteries and butchering anyone who dares to wield a sword, so going full giggs isn't 100% out of character

Regarding platinums I'm a little split on
It's no different to wanting to 100% a game in the earlier generations or even current. You just want to complete it 100% and finish it fully and do whatever there is to do.
So if you find a game fun and want to keep playing, it's a decent way to get more out of it
But if you're playing games you find ok, and torture yourself just to get the trophies then that's crazy...imo

I used to chase platinums but I don’t have time for that anymore. It was a way to keep me occupied instead of spending money on a new game I’ll either never play or not like.
Last platinum I got was Jedi Fallen Order. Only reason was because I was just playing normally and finished with like 98% completion so I figured I’d go for the 4 collectibles I missed
