Indeed, I know it's the original devs, but it doesn't stop the alpha feeling like a poor facsimile of the originals.
ADS really ruins it for me. L4D was quick as fuck when it came to combat, hordes coming from every direction plus special infected. Now you have to ADS if you want any sort of accuracy and the character models constantly get in the way of each other, everything just feels sized wrong as a result. Areas are tightly mapped with no wide areas and generally just made of corridors with 1 or 2 short paths through. New infected don't really cut it compared to the originals.
Yeh it's alpha but some decisions regarding map design and weapon handling got me missing this shit like Evolve.
