By sy Go To PostY'all still think this ain't a big deal huh 😂It is, but it’s also beneath me.
How many of these Gamers are complaining to the waitress that their order was wrong and they need another meal after eating all of it tho
By FootbalIFan Go To PostDo you hate me zabo?calling witcher 3 rubbish would worry me coming from anyone else, but you have a history of bad taste and poor choices so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I know he is just trolling. But Witcher 2 also very good.
Witcher 1... I understand if people call rubbish.

By Facism Go To Post@wooden, you'll be glad to know i bought disco elysium. 11 Raheems on epic
You will be glad to know, that it's the first AAAAA game. Adding another A when the patch for it being fully voiced comes out in march.

Witcher 1 was amazing. As always, the trick with CdProjekt is to let them finish their games and then buy them.
TW1 has THE worst combat I have EVER played. Who thought clicking was a good idea

A Sony fanboy saying Witcher 1 was good? That game was absolutely dogshit. I thought the only people who pretended it was good was insecure PC only gamers who care about exclusive wars

the dwarf cock side quest was fucking great though
and the serial killer one, where you could end up accusing the wrong npc.

got some well deserved R&R over the holiday break.
I've been meaning to play Half-Life:Alyx and I heard there's a mod to play without VR.
is this true?

Done with Death Stranding. Solid game overall and an interesting experience. I get why people say 'I liked it but I wouldn't recommend it' now.
Chapters 4 - 10 were the best, the game hit just the right mix of exploring / cargo-ing and story bits. Or rather I did, having done all the side stuff I needed to and more in the neverending Chapter 3. Chapters 11-15 are full Kojima, but I knew it was coming and got through it just fine, mostly.
DS > MGS5
It's a VR game through and through. I'd sooner get a VR headset just for it and sell it afterwards than ruin myself the experience in such a way.

Taking a great VR game and modding all the VR out of it just leaves you with a bad game tbh. The levels and encounters are all fully designed with VR as an integral part of them. Removing it leaves you with a very bland and easy FPS.
By Yurtlicious Go To Postthe dwarf cock side quest was fucking great thoughIt did have some good side quests. It also had Alvin as a main character and every bit of the plot related to him was cheeks

Sure the Lakers can still play, but would you really wanna watch?

so uhh, which VR headset?
and you're probably going to recommend the most expensive one aren't you?

zabo, you’re a great man.
what are you playing next?
By Kabro Go To PostThx lads,Quest 2 and Virtual Desktop could probably do the job.
so uhh, which VR headset?

By Kabro Go To PostThx lads,Nah. Ideally you'd want to play it on Valve's own Index, since it was designed around it, but from my research it works just fine on cheaper headsets with inside out tracking like the Rift S and and Quest 2. I'm probably going to play it on the latter, if and when I can get one at MRSP.
so uhh, which VR headset?

Vapes can tell you more, since he's one of the few people here that actually played it on the Rift S. He'll even sell you his headset. :)
By bud Go To Postzabo, you’re a great man.I'm alright. Not sure about my next game. I could go all in on Hades, but I really like having it as a side game. I'm thinking Project Wingman or maybe Lonely Mountains. A smaller, palate cleanser kind of game before I tackle the next big one, whatever that may be.
what are you playing next?
By Kabro Go To PostThx lads,Honestly I'd say just get something on the cheaper end of the spectrum since there's no point dropping mad raheems on a Valve Index for one game.
so uhh, which VR headset?

The Rift S brand new is £300 currently, it has some minor tracking issues but nothing that I personally found to get in the way of the games I've played with it. The Facebook forced integration is the major downside with it however it at least works fine with Steam VR. A fairly decent way to play.
You can get a second hand WMR headset for £200~ on eBay too. The controllers tend to be a bit shitty, but they're perfectly adequate to use when considering how cheap they are relative to more expensive units. I'd go this route if you (understandably) don't want to touch anything asociated with Facebook and also just want to try a few VR games. The HP/Dell models are generally considered alright, the Samsung model has a very good screen but it's also really expensive for a WMR set. I'd go for the Dell/HP model.
Also, with the Rift S and WMR, they generally won't require a high end PC to run games on them since the screen refresh rate and resolution is on the lower end for VR sets.
By Yurtlicious Go To Postoh yeah Alvin and the story in general was brilliantNah, I hated everything to do with Alvin and how they handled Triss in the first game. They're just weird stand-ins for Ciri and Yen. The side quests had charm though.
