PS4, Switch and STEAM
the trailer is so bad but I've watched a couple of boss fights and it seems actually good
Man, it looks like Ubisoft have made a complete mess of the way you mark points of interest in Immortals
Tells you exactly what you're looking at, from any distance, whether you have direct sight or not. So rather than 'those small ruins look interesting, I'll mark it for later,' it reveals a chest on a part of the map that's being blocked from view by a rock. They can't help but turn their games into busywork to the detriment of exploration, even when it makes absolutely no sense for what they're trying to evoke.
Was quite looking forward to it. Maybe they'll patch in an option to lessen the effectiveness of the viewer, doubtful though and not ideal at all.

a cardinal sin in an open world game
By DY_nasty Go To PostI'll hold my L. 13 Sentinels is good lmaoI told ya.
And just wait, you haven't even seen everything.
I never thought that Vanillaware had that kinda game in them.
Worth the wait.
Beat the main campaign of Doom Eternal yesterday. Very well-built game. It dragged a little towards the end and it had more of an emphasis on exploration than i would have liked for this game. The arena design was fantastic. I never quite got proficient with all the weapons and abilities available to me. Kept forgetting to keep using the flamethrower and chainsaw, mostly.
By Laboured Go To PostYou can spoil yourselves on CP2077's perks if you want:Those are some boring-ass perks.

Just want to say thank you to all the beta testers applying for Cyberpunk 2077 year one of public QA.

My second playthrough was a lot more enjoyable than the first.
All weapons being available from the start, plus knowing how to use each of them effectively and knowing every enemy attack patterns and weakspots really brings the whole game full circle as an experience.
First time taking a marauder down with the SSG/Balista cycle was absolute cummies

Doom 2016 felt like doom meets metroid prime . Doom eternal felt like a first person shooter take on devil may cry . Both were great and needed but eternal felt so hectic and mechanically deep that I'm really hoping they do something a little slower next.

ideally, they combine both Dooms, I wasn't a fan of the nonsensical arena levels.

By DY_nasty Go To PostI'll hold my L. 13 Sentinels is good lmaothe RTS sections are not that bad as far as mechanics go, but MAN....why, this could've been absolutely sensational with rendered robots.

there's actually foundation for a solid game on that aspect alone. but oh well
By sy Go To PostHalo spring 2021?I guess they're giving some kind of Infinite update within the next couple of weeks, but the radio silence and the complete revamping of the team's leadership in recent months don't inspire hope that this game is close. It'll probably be more like September.

By Zabojnik Go To PostFinished my first proper session of Hades, loving it already. Think I got how most of the boons, keepsakes and whathaveyou work.Dear Zabo,
Beat the first boss, Megaera, died soon after landing in the second realm, Asphodel, and started from Tartarus again.
How does this work, exactly? Do I have to fight Magaera again or … ?
there's no way in Hades hell you won't like 13S. That's all I'm going to say, and that's all you need to know.

Bioware reveals always disappoint. It's either a 5 second CGI character teaser or a 5 minute video of developers talking about how much the game means to them in front of an excel spreadsheet.
