finished up Outer Wilds.
wonderful game. i was engaded from the very first second. storytelling done right in a video game. it's a shame the worst thing in the entire game is the thing you have to do to get to the end, kinda ruined the ending for me. fuck these stupid fish still great, i award it a 2/10.

I actually think the obvious remake is Killzone 2. People now have nostalgia for the PS3/360 gen, it's one of their best, most critically well-received games from that era, and the servers got shut off years ago.
Outside of that, I don't think there's other stuff in their back catalog that really jumps out. Something like Folklore would be neat, but that game is so obscure. A lot of their legacy franchises, stuff like Syphon Filter or Twisted Metal, would be too archaic to bring back.

bluepoint are ready to work on their own ip. studios like this only develop remakes/ports because they have to, they're normally itching to work on their own stuff. it's not even likely that their first game will be any good, but they really deserve to level up. plenty of studios out there that can do a bloodborne remake justice.
Whatever Bluepoint does will be assisted by SOE Japan. They're technical director lives in Japan and Bluepoint doesn't really have much of a design team yet.
