I think that's it. And I think you're probably right about the address. One other thing is I think you have to turn off EA Play auto-renewal after each time you buy it

I can't remember the combat of Human Revolution being that bad ( I had fun playing it and finished it years ago, but played mostly stealthy) but that combat in Mankind Evolved was terribly janky. Just couldn't go on with it.

Also if you play HR at over 60FPS, aiming becomes extra janky. Visually the perspective judders when you zoom in and out.
That's two years old at this point, most of the stuff in that doesn't even exist. Most recent look at gunplay:
It aint DOOM but it looks a bit better than Fallout. If it was third person, i'd be worried but it's not and it'll play fine.
If you wanna jump in at launch, I'd be more concerned about the bugs/performance. Wither 3 was a Bethesda tier launch in regards to bugs and crashes.

It doesn't look great but it's hard to call if the gameplay itself is janky or if the person playing it is janky. See also, Doom 2016 pre-release gameplay vs how it actually plays.

Massively disagree. There were some nvidia driver issues, but I don't think those were related to the game. Turn off hairworks, turn down one or two other settings I can't remember, and the game definitely ran well

Edit: I put the game down for a long time after initially playing and not liking it because of the performance, the bugs and the how it controlled. It wasn't until 2016 that I started a new game got into the game properly. After that, I even went back and played through the first two on PC which redefined my understanding of jank.
