This would add ~32 ms input lag at 60 fps. Also, if a title uses v-sync, that nearly always comes with triple buffering which is basically the same thing. I don't think that input lag is additive. So, if you do both, it is still the same two frames of input lag.
This is another reason why vrr is important (imo). It allows you to get the no screen tearing benefits of v-sync without needing triple buffering, which results in less input lag.

Yes it's pretty obvious. I wonder if there will be ways to change it. TW3 had tonnes of editable settings to massively increase LOD range.
