Halo 1 was great. Playing a whole campaign in split screen felt revolutionary at the time but as someone who dabbled in pc gaming, the series lost me after 2 especially when the thing that kept people coming back was the multiplayer. I respect people's fondness for the game like I do people's fondness for goldeneye but I got no interest in goldeneye 3, goldeneye odst, goldeneye reach etc

Construction was during high school to make some money since I didn't get an allowance and had to save up any money given to me from birthdays and Christmas if I wanted to buy something for myself. Got a sizable raise after the first week because I apparently actually did the work I was told to do and didn't slack off much. Later, the carpenters used me as their personal gopher because they took a liking to me. Better than sweeping up nails and pushing water out/off of foundations.
Didn't need to work during college since tuition, board, books, and food were paid for by scholarship. Spending money came from a performance grant for music and a state scholastic award or whatever (was called TOPS in Louisiana). Had my first software dev job lined up before graduating and been in the field ever since.
