By toku Go To PostI died 2 hours in from a broken heart because I kept pushing a certain line of thinking. I had to open another save lol. Great game.
From my first time playing it. I died in the first room from jumping for the tie and failing, then died again later on attempting to jump to get into a new area. Think both times were a heart attack.
I’ve really gotta stress how well crafted the game is on the whole though, the fact there’s no actual combat system in the game didn’t even dawn on me until I’d nearly beat the game. If anything, the dialogue system was the true combat system.
By Facism Go To Postah disco isn't on sale on Epic :( Could have used my voucher to bring it down to £15.
It's one of few games I fully recommend paying full price for, honestly, it's not something you would be disappointed with.
As it is, £25 on Steam is nothing to turn your nose up at for the 25-30 hours of top tier RPG you'll get back out of it.

eSports will never be a popular thing on consoles. The reason why games like League are hugely popular esports is because it can be played on your microwave
The only “big” console esport game is CoD. How is a $500 purchase + yearly $60 purchase + maintaining PS+ even close to worth it? There’s also no money to be made in terms of what’s possible in the PC space
CSGO players making more in a month than people do in a year

By diehard Go To Postdoesnt PC totally dominate eSports anyway?Yeah.
are consoles going to be unbanned in China?
Mobile is gaining traction in esports quickly though.
Really makes FIFA look incompetent as fuck
Don't give a shit about the differences between the ways players move in the two sports, 2k looks generations ahead based on these gifs

People saying nobody plays esports on consoles are forgetting... sports games. Nobody plays those on PC, nobody. Fighting games also.
Racing games are also good candidates to be bigger on consoles.

All four tier 1 esports are played on PC.
In tier 2, four out of six are played on PC, one is predominantly played on PC (Fortnite) and the sixth is played on consoles currently but that has recently changed and is set to transition to PC (COD).
Tier 3, there’s eight games, two are of those are played on consoles (FIFA & Smash) and one of them is played on mobile.

Most sport and fighting games just don’t make the cut, don’t shoot the messenger
Not shooting anyone. The esport scene started yesterday, so making ironclad claims about its future is highly premature.
Everyone knows PC is where its at ATM, this is news to nobody.

being a gaming analyst must be the easiest job ever
even switch has more esport potential than ps5
the only reason fgc uses ps4s is because of logistical reasons

Lower latency connection
More players on console vs the PC base.
Racing games on console are pretty pad friendly. At Gran Turismo using a wheel is faster but if you can't have one, you can compete without easily if you want. I've qualified to lan events on every single device I used (DS4, G29 and TGT). PD forces everyone to use a TGT on lan events tho, so you're pretty much done on these if you don't have a wheel.
At Forza, using a pad is even faster.
F1 I'm not sure.
GT is by far the franchise that tries the hardest to create a level playing field regardless of the device you have. You can even be good using motion controls, one japanese guy qualified for an event once lol

amazing.
Honestly, on a technical level, it seems like we should all be learning a hitbox (glorified keyboard) in the FGC. Pads are fine, even though a lot of people still use sticks.

For the third point, I think he's actually right as far as using a DS4 controller wirelessly on the PS4 has less latency than using it wired or wirelessly on a PC from what I remember reading a while back. That only applies to a game that is played on a professional level on both platforms and a DS4 is the preferred or only option to use though, it's a bunk point in the grander scheme of esports.
yeah I think that's what flutter is referring to, the DS4 has a high polling rate on ps4, but that latency is inconsequential compared to the engine latency of games. pretty much all modern fighting games are much more responsive on pc. I'm saying this as an actual TO, we would love to move to PCs for our events, but it's just logistics and I guess expense getting in the way.
