Absolutely yes.

The UI looks fine, a nice evolution on the PS4. Kinda wish they had something like quick resume though

Yeah that and nu-snap really doesn't do anything for me personally.
By reilo Go To PostBut how hot does it run on next-gen gamesThink we'll need to give it a few years before we know the answer to that

Would like to see a temperature test on CP2077.

By Freewheelin Go To PostLike that the UI is in HDRIt's minor but I hate how jarring it is when my TV switches between SDR and HDR content, so this is a welcome addition.
sony fanboys: new xbox overheats!!!

Good that the controller has a mic and transcription mode. Worud make it easier to tell teammates on Battlefield to stop camping in vehicles/play the objective/fuck off.

PS4 UI was also once snappy and fast.
Sometimes less is more. I personally couldn't care less about suggested activities from the system/game. I feel a lot of it is similar to PS4's game hub - you know, the feature nobody uses, when you have the cursor on the game and tap down to see the newest activities for that game of your friends and updates and what not. It's also still featured on PS5. The only thing from that is to be able to right away join a MP lobby or continue my save progress without first entering the main menu.
I don't know about you guys but I never used the game hub and have no interest in using. It's a waste of resources in my eyes - same as "watch your friends live gameplay" or "jump in and take control of your friends game to help him out" features that have been touted for PS4. I would love to know how much usage these systems see platform wide.
And last but not least: no thank you on personalized stores - thankfully I'm sure due to European privacy laws it is possible to deactivate that shit.
The only thing of the new stuff shown I'll use is voice texting.

UI is fine.
Like every other one out there.
Why is this big news?
The only stand out thing is the voice dictation.

I think it’s hilarious that the PS5 user experience video has already surpassed the Microsoft one in terms of views in 50 minutes. The Xbox one came out in like August.

Don’t be boring zabo. Some of this stuff you might never use but there are people who do, it doesn’t mean it’s a waste of resources.
It’s like reading “I don’t care about this social thingy” well yeah, ok.

The #concern about Series X heat dissipation is looking a little desperate to be fair
If you genuinely care, why not have a look at the temperatures you can achieve with multiple intake/exhaust fans, whilst having the ability to set the curves to your own liking. It's not that scary I promise

hopefully the rest mode is better, ive had to reinstall the whole OS twice now because my lights went out when the PS4 was on rest mode.

If multiple games weren't able to be suspended, there would have been a warning about closing sackboy when switching to All Stars like PS4.
noted biased xbox super fans with a good write up on the UI
