Think I'm over Fall Guys. Season 2 didn't really do enough and there's still far more boring/bad levels than good ones. I knew it was always gonna be a short-term game which is why I never understood why they went with a battle pass. Your game is not mechanically dense enough for a battle pass.
By toku Go To PostIt kinda did. Xrd was popular largely due to its art style/graphics but I think it was still intimidating to a lot of ppl. This has potential to be much bigger especially if they nail ggpo/rollback implementationi want to believe but its never certain with how the dumbitdown move works
Going through my backlog and my decision fell on AC:Unity and Into the Breach in addition to Superhot Mind Control Delete.
So far FEAR 2 has no lean buttons or quick saving. The only plus I've found is that there's an in-game soda called Professor Doctor, and I think that's kind of funny.

I do wish they added more for season 2, but still playing it like an hour a day with friends. Perfect game for 30 to 60 min of fuckery for me
The question is, is the game popular enough for a battle pass? Your own desire to play the game is basically irrelevant in that regard.
Battle pass is kind of irrelevant. It's free and has some basic rewards. I still play almost every day. I just get a daily win or two and move on.
I dont know why that is the question. But ok lets pretend it is... It's not like I pay for battle pass, and it's just unlocking shit? Yeah, game is still more than popular enough for that.
Battle pass is just something so you have rewards to play even if you're not winning, don't see a problem with having it there when it's free
The game is just not gonna regain that peak it had at launch, it doesn't have the gameplay variance for it, but has settled at more than healthy numbers for the long run as a party game.

edit: wait you don't even pay for the battle pass? It can only be a good thing for the players in that case surely, and presumably helps them keep people hooked?
Not yet at least. I don't think it would keep me hooked if I had to pay every month or so. But season 2 is free and it's just unlocking stuff. It does help me a little, it's easy crowns and a few new costumes and such.
DMC5 on PS5 vs PC loading times
they even had to add a "press x to continue" after the loading was done.
makes hell and hell restarts a lot less painful

hope they dont ever make you pay for it, but wouldnt put it past them to rebrand season 3 or beyond as an expansion pack that you pay $10 for or something
Enjoying the Black Ops beta much more than I expected.
The CoD devs are still creatively bankrupt when it comes to having truly diverse class choices with well thought out boundaries. Things open up a bit for larger scale games which incentivize more antiair/vehicle classes, but standard playlists are still pretty much about ghost + run n gun or trying to be a quick scope lord. Lack of any real means to play a support role is preventing any real depth beyond slaying out always being the end all even in objective modes. If you're running the most optimal kit for slaying, then I don't think you should be providing a UAV to the entire team as well for your prowess. Your streaks should be enhancing your ability to do your job better, not being a net buff for the entire team. Meanwhile, let Jimmy Slowhands be able to toggle something where he glows a little or stands out in some way in the few times he's able to actually get to the objective, and cap a point at double the rate or something for his effort. Maybe if I'm running 10 attachments on my gun I'm capping an objective at half the speed as the normal guy. IDK, just some attempt at depth.
OP vehicles spawn too frequently. This kind of balance is something I think BF and CoD still haven't really figured out, but CoD does manage to make you feel less powerless when you're on the wrong side of the situation.

Class choice in cod peaked with the pick 10 system in BLOPS2, the best CoD mp experience to date (infinite sprint only thing missing)
sony lads talking about secret sauce ssd on their date and how it's 2 secs better than xbox.
meanwhile us pc users are at home with our Fleshlight Launch™, that does the job without even having to move our hands, so we can focus on its fully integrated features into the anime vr game.

By Yurtlicious Go To Postand I'm over here playing 3DS gamesI'm playing FEAR 2.
By data Go To PostI'm playing FEAR 2.My memory of FEAR 2 is that it's pretty decent? Granted, I played this 10+ years ago.
i'm just waiting on that digital foundry PS5 backwards compatibility vid
If the compatability is actually really putting in work on the vast majority of titles then I might wait on Series X until Bethesda starts dropping bombs.

But I bet the gap between 1 & 2 helped a lot. Because it definitely feels like FEAR 1 but not as good. It feels like going from HL 1 to Blue Shift.

They need big weekly updates to keep the game alive. Not just new maps every 5 week.
if you play a party game religiously ofc you'll get bored of it lol. not meant to be played like that
tried playing Alien Isolation but it just hurts my head too much. Changing the FoV didn't help much, movement just feels too weird with a m/kb

It should change into a new Fallout game instead.
For what purpose though? The fallout aesthetic is butt.
What I want is more money thrown at their next project. What people want from New Vegas 2 can be done in a more interesting setting imo.
By Yurtlicious Go To Posti love new vegas to bits but what if (what if) we all just had lower standards back thenGraphically of course we did.
You can say that about any older game tho.
NV was not beautiful but it wasn't as far behind to its peers as Outer Worlds was

So I'm gonna say fnv is probably just a great game regardless of when you played it

Oh no. I just got the shotgun in FEAR 2 and its a massive disappointment after the shotgun in the original
