The SSDs are pretty small relative to how big games are getting. 1 TB minus the space needed for the OS ain't much. Like, I keep Gears 5 installed and pop back into the multi regularly. That's 64 gigs without the SX upgrade.
That said, I'll probably hold off on the expansion card for now. I have my external drive for all my back compat stuff.

Funnily enough the people who will need it the most are XSS owners. At 1.5Tb the XSS is 20$ more expensive than a 1TB XSX. Marks.

I think it's very likely that MS will make more raw profit from selling £220 SSDs to XSS owners than they ever will from Gamepass. Maybe that's the point of Gamepass afterall, give you all these games to play but you'll need to fork out for an overpriced SSD to store more than 5 of them.
