I played maybe 10% of them.

Tell me how much you've been playing of your free games.

P.S. I haven't even installed a single EGS freebie.

I've play a fair bit on Gamepass. Currently playing Lonely Mountains (and I fully recommend it too, it's great). Played Frostpunk on there, Streets of Rage 4, Ape Out, recently installed Wasteland 3 ready to play. I generally use it as a way to discover smaller titles that look interesting to me.
All in all, I've probably tried around 20+ different games on there.

I don't bother with EGS freebies.

I don't play many of the Humble Monthly games, more often than not I'm giving keys out on here for free every few months or so. Overall I'd say it's good value but I don't get the value out of it because either I already own the games or they just don't interest me.

When I had PS+ on the PS3, I played a lot of the free games on there. Especially towards the end of it's life and they were throwing bangers out every months like XCOM, MGR and Dragon's Dogma. On the PS4 side, I played very little of the freebies. Resogun, KF2 and Disc Jam were the only ones I remember.

Sega safe from American takeover

I've played a ton of gamepass games, too many to list. Some more than others, obviously, but I've finished plenty and got a bunch of regulars going on there atm.

They actually just want Sega for Creative Assembly and Relic and they'll shut down Sonic Team.

When its 'free' you're really not incentivised to play them.

Its why the Netflix approach has always seem bizarre - I dont finish or even get to half way of 8 out of 10 netflix/prime shows I start.

If you need to be incentivised to play a game, maybe you just don't want to really play that game?

the only stuff i've consistently played and finished via gamepass are the halo mcc games and gears 5

otherwise it's been just 2 hour looks. downloaded all 90 gigs of flight sim, crashed a cessna into my house and then promptly uninstalled

I am struggling to even come up with to many boss fights that made me go, "holy shit" the way final Uraizen and Vergil did. Lol.

If Bayonetta 2 isn't a part of the discussion, due to it being on WiiU, then I don't even have much. Last gen was trash for that. Lol

I shouldn't even count Resourceful Rat, from Enter The Gungeon, because it's basically Liquid Snake and Metal Gear Rex. The entire MGS1 boss fight, remade for Gungeon.

It does not even play like Devil May Cry anymore, feel like some cheap bayonetta rip-off. Capcom running out of creativity.

After I play Dishonored 1 which I bought at full price at launch on steam and never played

I really recommend it and by coincidence I started replaying it today, having bought it on launch but never finished it. Still holds up very well.

I remember it came out of nowhere, no real hype for it. Ah, 2012, I was so full of potential back then.

That I'm playing Dishonored means I'm putting my second run of RE2 on the backburner. I feel I got my £8s worth out off it anyway.
