My internet is alright for downloads, 200 down, 65 up, it's the latency in online games that's the problem. Lack of local servers means the closest we have is West Coast locations.
Hoping/assuming the games on that PS+ list will be enhanced...
Looks like it supports Atmos too, NICE.

By HonestVapes Go To PostI chose the third option. More storage.that's fair but don't expect them to cater to the minorities with slow connection, its not feasible.
By JesalR Go To PostThat official or retailer info?
from the official PS5 website.
The company selling you Spider-Man again isn't going to give you an enhanced back compat version of Bloodborne for free.
I just need them to patch in an uncapped framerate, pls
Off the top of my head, Nioh, God of War, Monster Hunter World in the PS Collection all have uncapped framerate modes.
I don't know if The Last Guardian does.
Edit: sekiro is uncapped as well

They are aware organizing preorders for something like a ps5 rarely goes smoothly right? And it will be a madhouse every time a retailer opens up through the end of the year.
The alternative is doing something like MS is doing where bots will be queued up ready to roll since they know the exact time and date.

Anyone know if analogue movement in Hades presents a significant advantage? I’m enjoying aiming with the mouse, but can’t help but feel the ability to dodge in any direction would be a massive boost
Hades might be the only game I prefer controller over m/kb. I’m not sure if there’s a significant advantage, it just feels it controls better
Hades has significant aim assist on pad and obviously because of the way the game controls, movement is better also.
One of the few games I'd say MKB isn't worth it.

I managed to get all 120 Stars in Super Mario 64 for the first time today. Didn't take long at all.
It actually made me feel old. I remember beating the final Bowser battle for the first time as a kid and the sheer euphoria that came with it - it felt like it had been a long journey finally completed. It's crazy how your perception of time changes as you get older.
Still a great game too. You can see why it had the impact it did all those years ago. Nowadays the creaks are showing - the camera especially - but it holds up remarkably well. Mario just feels so good to control.

Mario reviews:
Mario 64: it looks pretty good at 720p. I really wish they had reworked the camera though
Galaxy: Still the GOAT got over the pointer but playing in handheld is dumb with required touch
Sunshine: lol maybe later

Richard must not be talking to the same devs as duskgolem
Also
Every single developer I've spoken to developing for PS5 has been evangelising how easy it is to work for, Its essentially the same development environment as PS4 and you scale up from there, for the new powers, the features and whatnot. I can't stress enough how happy developers seem to be with this situationAt 38:50

There is simply no doubt that the XSX on paper, the more powerful machine. However again, speaking to developers the development environment they are dealing with some people seem to be extremely happy with it, other people are having problems with it because they've moved away from what was previously the XDK which was specific for the Xbox to the GDK which is a more general environment for PC and for Xbox and even Xbox one is encompassed by the GDK

Expecting Elden Ring and Tales of Arise to show up at the MS show.
Current gen vs next-gen.
From Soft vs Bluepoint.
Sounds like a KO in the first round.
By Daz Go To PostWhat ever they show had better match DeS graphically.Lmao

Companies will never put extra money on Mexican servers when you can play quite well on US West.

Path of Exile is 80ms, but yeah, most games with California servers should be around 40ms

Ray Tracing only available on PS5 at launch. Will come to XSX in a later patch. Doesn't say anything about XSS or PC.
Strange, iirc MS did the marketing for the OG game and even had it on gamepass for awhile.

I get these speed, nothing particularly impressive but still decent depending on which server pool I get allocated to.
