To my shame I watched Rogue the other night. The CGI lion has to be nailed on the worst CGI effects in any media in 2020.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostSeems like The New Mutants is shit, I'm disappointed.
Checked the website for my local cinema at about midday and no one booked a seat for the 4pm Tenet in their (Lie)MAX screen at that point. Even all the evening time showings have single figure uptake.
I'm still not going to a cinema in 2020 though.

Would you risk your entire family's life to see a Christopher Nolan movie on cinemas at launch?

I went to see that Tenet film you lot keep talking about. Checked online beforehand and the greenwich one wasn’t busy
Two things:
1. Couldn’t hear a lot of the dialogue
2. Pretty much impossible to wrap you head around it whilst you’re watching it. Large parts you just have to trust that what’s happening makes sense. There’s bits you see coming, but only because they’re obvious and not the result of a thorough understanding of how things work.

By GQman2121 Go To PostFandango said all the theatres are closed, but how about these new straight to home streaming options….their light discipline is triggering as fuck
Last of Us vibes from the King Slayer.

Yeah I’m stoked
I’ve watched the movie a ton and read the books way back in the day, but I also enjoyed the miniseries. Wouldn’t mind watching that again too

By Cleff Go To PostAt least she has a sense of humour about it 🤷♂️It looked poop from the jump.
All those times he looked tired and/or bored during the press tour was because he was sick and fighting cancer. What a fight.
Rest in peace Chadwick.

Awful stuff. To play Jackie Robinson, James Brown, Thurgood Marshall, T’Challa and then the quasi-mythological figure of Stormin’ Norman in Da 5 Bloods... rare to see a mainstream black actor revel so much in his blackness. A real loss.
RIP.
I wonder who knew of this. Marvel must've known about it.. he could've been the face of that franchise for a decade and more. What a shame to lose out on him being a role model for so many.

Taxi Driver is one of the best movies of all time, but the constant saxophone is terrible and brings the movie down.

I quite like how discordant it is with the events of the film, like there’s this conflict within the film and Bickle to romanticise NYC despite the scum and filth he encounters (and he himself is part of). When he sees himself as avenger its that romantic era the score hearkens back to that he’s trying to reclaim.
