By Not Go To PostI hope Pattinson knows the guy who plays Batman doesn't get the OscarI don't think Oscars would ever even nominate him. They're like the people that got upset when he was casted as Batman only think of Twilight when they hear his name.
Wait, what?
Jonah Hill as Riddler? No.
Jeffrey Wright entered negotiations to play James Gordon in September, and Jonah Hill entered negotiations to play either the Riddler or the Penguin. In October, Wright was cast, but Hill exited negotiations. According to Variety's Justin Kroll, Hill wanted to be paid $10 million—more than double the amount that Pattinson would make—while Kit wrote that Warner Bros. and Hill could not decide which role he would take.
Jonah Hill as Riddler? No.
Shazam only gets good at the end.
I do like Zachary Levy in that role, and really glad he got a big starring role in a big Cape film - he got done dirty in Thor Ragnarok.

By Veckrot Go To PostPatman beat the shit outta that dude. When the trailer has better fighting than Nolans entire trilogy.
Jonah Hill doesn't have the riddler in him.
I'm kinda glad that they're going with some of the more campy villains for this, even if it's a very serious looking movie.

I think Burton still got Batman right in terms of how fishbowl Gotham is an kind of has to be in order for certain Batman narrative shit to work.

Yeah, and I'm just rewatching Batman Begins and while there are small nods to the more gothic design to Gotham, it's so funny to me that that is completely gone for Dark Knight such that you feel like it takes place in a completely different city.
Also BB is way longer than I remember.
I hated Secret of the Ooze for a while but on second watch? It's not bad. It's nowhere near as good as TMNT 1990, but it's a fun little Turtles movie. Basically feels like a decent 2 part cartoon. And I love how much more flexible the puppets are in this than the original.

When I was a kid I liked 2 more than 1. But I think I didn't like 1 much because I watched it on a pirated VHS and everything was so dark and I literally couldn't see anything.

worst theater experience i’ve ever had.
probably the worst movie i’ve ever seen in the theater, too.
That was Man of Steel for me. Kinda imagine the movie's audio is what the CIA uses to torture terrorists.
By bud Go To Postworst theater experience i’ve ever had.probably for me too. should've walked out during the intermission but friends wanted to stay.

By bud Go To Postworst theater experience i’ve ever had.BvS still remains the worst movie I’ve ever paid money to see. Suicide Squad might’ve taken its place though if I paid for it.

i actually thought SS was going to be fun. it's not like i went in knowing it's this bad like i could do with Zach Snyder movies.
Worst film I ever saw in the theatre was Transcendence with Johnny Depp. Didn’t pay for it though it was a free preview screening.
Worst cinema experience....
BvS is up there - my friends and I were in utter disbelief as Batman straight up murders dozens of dudes.

man of steel among one of the worst movies ive seen but my worst theater experience will always be either Avengers Endgame sitting alongside 2 people who have never watched an MCU movie that talked the entire time, or Deadpool 1 with a bunch of parents who kept walking out of the cinema
yall are so young, man like me remember sitting in cinema for the first ghost rider questioning my entire life
come to think of it the worst movie i've ever seen in the theater was an experimental wordless documentary about high sea fishing where they cranked up the sound to 100 so your ears almost exploded and the theater was extremely hot. the entire movie was shaky cam footage where nothing really happens for 1.5 hours and then we had to listen to a 60 minute Q&A with the directors.
still pretty close with Suicide Squad.

I gave up on theaters a while back tbh cause I got tired of seeing phone glow. I only go if I am really into it or others do. Last thing I saw in theaters was halloween related movies during well Halloween time. So people were there to watch the films, not basically say "i watched it" while in their seats on facebook or whatever.
Never seen Suicide Squad, but did walk out on Birds of Prey after about 12 minutes. Had seen Knives Out prior and was hoping to double dip, but I just couldn't handle the "humor" they were going for.

regular ass saturday night on like week 2 of a big movie is a crap shoot.
i also stopped giving a shit and going full old man on these kids and just yell at them. people here avoid conflict like the plague so it usually works fine.
Do y'all not have VIP theaters where they give you ultra comfy recliners and serve alcohol and food? So worth the premium price per ticket.
Worst experience was certainly this piece.
Someone from my football club invited everyone from the team to see a movie. That's what we've ended up with. We were all pretty young, but that was still quite a letdown.

I don’t do that, though. I’m there to watch a movie and chill I don’t need all that extra stuff and people bothering me during a movie. I don’t even eat popcorn at movies anymore.

Crawl
Doctor Sleep
Ready or Not
Haunt
The Lighthouse
Midsommar

I did. Enjoyed the shit out of all it because I like good bad movies lol. Worst movie I saw in theaters in was the Rock Hercules joint.
By Lunatic Go To PostIt's more to avoid the riff raff. The people who go to a movie to hang out and not watch the movie.Ah fair enough, I can see going there for that reason. I saw Moonlight in one of those places.
The theatre we frequent often (or used to...) was the TIFF Bell LightBox, the main cinema for the film festival. It's a bit more high brow so the patrons tend to be older white folks and cinephiles. So good.
My worst cinema experience was being asked by my parents what did I want either a coat for winter or going to see the wild wild west. Loaded question, i chose the coat, all my friends saw it at school and I was livid so I stole some money from my parents to only have my dad waiting for me at the exit of the cinema to take me home and beat my ass.
