How was Arnold ever a superstar he’s awful wtf
that was a huge part of his appeal.
By FortuneFaded Go To PostJingle all the way…dud?Fuck Turboman!
Get tae fuck.
By Freewheelin Go To PostThe Rock is the same but he has starred in mostly awful films except for Fast 5 which is a masterpiece
he isn't.
he wishes he had arnie's charisma.
and arnie's actually been in great movies; the rock only stars in trash movies.
By n8 dogg Go To PostThe Rock is only good in Fast Five, yes. He’s mediocre.
Terminator 2 da GOAT
I think Rock's comedy movies are better than his action flicks. Tooth Fairy is still his best movie.
By Kidjr Go To PostWhich film is more the standout from the franchise, Fast Five or Casino Royal?Casino Royale ez
By Kidjr Go To PostWhich film is more the standout from the franchise, Fast Five or Casino Royal?Casino Royale is the better movie but Fast Five had a bigger impact overall, it turned the franchise into a juggernaut and one of the biggest movie franchises ever in terms of box office.
The new Jumanji's are also pretty good. Rock's early movie career is kinda meh but his jacked period is mostly OK and some good.
By Daz Go To PostWalking Tall is the Rock's only good film.Welcome To The Jungle/The Rundown is a good time.
By bud Go To Posthe isn't.Yes Budley.

Also Arnie grew quite a bit as an actor when you watch Conan compared to his later movies.
By FortuneFaded Go To PostJust looked up what The Rock has planned next. How is this not a parody?Given the director is a comedy director, I'd imagine it is going to be a parody
By FortuneFaded Go To PostJust looked up what The Rock has planned next. How is this not a parody?Isn't that what his character is in Fast & Furious ?
Super agent tracker/detective.
rundown is flawed but good, walking tall sucks, fast five is his best work
doom movie is fun (with a great clint mansell score) bless

By Kabro Go To PostRock is decent in jumanji reboot.
I liked them both. The rock doing DeVito and Heart doing Glover was funny.
What's the point of trying to sell you the original as a proper remaster when they can just remake it badly and sell it to you for $30 digitally on Disney+ in 3-5 years?
By Pennywise Go To PostThis is on sixty million people giving them seven bucks a month
Hopefully that shithouse called Disney will go under one day.
Cunts.
Plus 30 dollars per movie lol
I honestly don't even care about the Disney stuff. They can keep their shit, but they bought up so many studios and got so many IPs and licenses, especially for movies that were supposed to get a decent 4k version and not some streaming shit.
Digital future can suck a dick.

Conversely HBO Max still tripping on their own dicks to provide ANY UHD content and Netflix basically does the Disney route as well. Not many UHD offering on Netflix that aren’t home baked.
Very very very few people will opt for physical media over digitial. It’s basically only enthusiasts, and even then ...
It's doubly bizarre because not like the 4K content rollout has been going that well, either. So why remove the little that we already have?
By JesalR Go To PostHave 4K BR players actually sold well enough for them to care?
doubt it.
read a few years ago that dvds were still outselling blu-rays, too.
By bud Go To Postdoubt it.bluray never came close

4k blurays are the virtual boy of media sales.

To push people to Disney +. For all it’s issues, they came out of the gate swinging here. Lots and lots of content is 4K and Atmos. All star wars is for example. Can’t get that on disk.
Makes sense too. Lots of people upgrading TV’s aren’t tech savvy enough to deal with receivers, HDR setting and multiple inputs. They’ll just connect a device direct into the TV.
Remember 1080? How many people still had a DVD connected or worse a blue ray player using old cable tech. In this instance people may just be running apps from their smart TV
By Sonyic Go To Posti don't even know that many people with a bluray player period.Lots of them are complete shit tbh. Hasn't bothered us much as people who have consoles but the single players? Garbage. I have one in another room and it just bugs out on certain blu rays.
Until 4K, I think the biggest reason to get Blu Ray was lossless audio. It still might be lol.
Seriously, physical media is an enthusiasts realm. Dudes out there buying CD’s for FLAC files and shit.

Getting flashbacks to people asking me to send them some hard media I had (that they'd send back) because they wanted to rip it into lossless shit.
By Laboured Go To PostIs watching a single movie over a number of days an endurance run?for a zoomer attention span, probably.
By Laboured Go To PostIs watching a single movie over a number of days an endurance run?Probably the only way I would get through The Irishman.
By Laboured Go To PostIs watching a single movie over a number of days an endurance run?he's actually watching a youtube reaction of someone watching Total Recall.
I probably won't go to the cinema again in 2020 but the cinema newsletter just popped in my Inbox. This strikes me as a mad one:
Matteo Garrone (Dogman, Gomorrah) has returned to the authentic roots of the much-loved Italian fairy tale in his stunning new adaptation. Roberto Benigni (Life is Beautiful) plays Gepetto, a childless carpenter who is amazed when the puppet boy he has carved comes to life.Garrone but also this is Benigni's second Pinocchio film.
