What year is it in Nolan's head. Felt like I just jumped back to some quote from an asshole robber baron.
Nolan: Here is an arch capitalist bludgeoning the poor to within an inch of their lives. This is the good guy.
By Xpike Go To PostNolan is the Neil Druckmann of moviesNah, he's the Frank Lampard of film

not only is she a billionaire but she wrote the most beloved books for millenials (and zoomers). she's safer than safe.
you can't touch her.
you can't touch her.
Made a fatal error and watched Tekken Blood Vengeance. I hope Laboured can forgive me. At any rate, I am ready to perform Yubitsume.
I picked up some girl scout cookies from the dollar store for my mother earlier and they had Under Siege on Blu-ray for $1. I had to cop it.
What is Steven Seagal's best movie? Is it Under Siege? Tommy Lee Jones is really good in it. But I think I'm fond of quite a few of those late 80's, early 90's Seagal films. Hard to Kill, Out for Justice, Above the Law and On Deadly Ground are a good time.

My fave is Out For Justice, that bar scene with the pool balls is still awesome to watch and Richie was a great villain, Under Siege close second.
My city's been doing drive-in movies as part of the COVID-19 recovery, and it's probably been my favorite thing. I really hope it sticks around.
By /sy Go To Postyall aint even watch kaufman's last movie.
How do you figure?
By /sy Go To Postyall aint even watch kaufman's last movie.
Probably my favourite of his
Really sad about Chaos Walking, I loved the books in college and was over the moon when I heard Kaufman wrote the script
By n8 dogg Go To PostWatching Hamilton. Still love it. Laboured be damned.Might save it for tomorrow, got into a discussion about twelve angry men with a friend.
Think it's time for a re-watch 👀
By /sy Go To Postyall aint even watch kaufman's last movie.I watched Anomalisa
I know he's complained about the difficulty of getting projects greenlit, but it's mad how unprolific Kaufman is. Wrote five released between 1999-04 and has written/directed two since, another on the way.
By NinjaFridge Go To PostWatching Captain Marvel. She runs weird.Finished. It's not great is it?
By NinjaFridge Go To PostFinished. It's not great is it?It really isn't plus they retconned the fucking shit out of her origins.
By NinjaFridge Go To PostFinished. It's not great is it?Doesn't even have a third act
By inky Go To PostWell, that's because he blew his talent load early. Hard to top what he did in that period.Synecdoche is his best, in my eyes.
By NinjaFridge Go To PostFinished. It's not great is it?legitimately the first time watching a movie in the cinema where i had no clue what was happening in an action scene because everything was just too dark
By Daz Go To PostIt really isn't plus they retconned the fucking shit out of her origins. How so?
By Lupercal Go To PostWill Ferrels EuroVision movie wasn't bad, I'm impressed.Watched it tonight with friends. It was okay, it was nice to see a few former Eurovision contesters on it and the Portuguese legend that is Salvador Sobral playing his Eurovision winning song in a strange cameo.
Musical numbers were pretty good.
