The Sarge's actor seems like he was played by someone's dad who's never done a movie or any acting school before in his life.
Also the final fight scene is total garbage

Studios won't reveal box office numbers for the next weeks.
Yesterday the "winner" of the box office was The Invisible Man with 22k$, the 10th placed was Jumanji 2 with 700$.

By batong Go To PostThe new star wars was trashJust realised I haven't watched that and I don't think I ever will.
By NinjaFridge Go To PostYou have to keep it somewhere and where better than the place you're going to use it?That pick up line does not work
By bacon Go To PostJust realised I haven't watched that and I don't think I ever will.good for you
It's not even remarkable in the way that it's bad. You just feel slightly embarrassed for all involved and hope everyone moves on from the sorry mess. It's like when you notice a decent / enjoyable long-running TV show turns bad when the writers start paying too much attention to the cacophonous social media following.

I watched the first 10 minutes and immediately thought oh God they're in fucking full panic mode. There was almost half movie's worth of stuff in that 10 minutes they just used as a scene setter.
I'd love to know who was providing the pressure points creatively after all the execs claimed they loved Rian's work.

Quite liked The Invisible Man. The ending was so so but the whole thing was thrilling. That restaurant scene was fantastic, Leigh Whannell pulled off some great scenes and Blumhouse really knows how to use every dime off the budget, they really put those 8M$ to good use.
By Zabojnik Go To PostAbout to watch Contagion. Should be fun.
Good movie.

Shocking to noone, there's no Abrams cut of TROS:
By Greg Grunberg“I’m being completely honest here, but not once did he ever tell me that there was any pressure on him to cut things out. Personally, I don’t think there’s any truth to that, and I would be surprised if there’s a ‘J.J. cut.’ Every movie goes through a series of cuts; it’s just the nature of it. I don’t buy into it at all.”
By Apollo Go To PostEven more important. Emma is out thereIt's been available on most VOD platforms since Friday.
I was going to finally watch Call Me By Your Name, but I decided to watch Friday the 13th part 5 instead. I feel alright about it.
I really hope that there's an extensive making of in the 1917 disc release because the movie was good but it was a masterpiece in the way they shoot it.
Only Deakins could have pulled that off.

The Gentlemen is great lads give it a look.
By toku Go To PostI might give Bloodshot a try, maybe find a cool gif in it but I suspect it's boring.Watched it this morning. It's a standard action film with no substance.
Oh yes, got a notification email that said about endlessness is out on Swedish VoDs.
Finally I can feel even more nihilistic.

By FortuneFaded Go To PostJust watched Uncut Gems. Bit of an unpleasant, anxiety inducing film to watch.
I just watched it. I’m not sure what to really take away from it. It’s like if the “chaotic energy” meme was distilled down into it a film.
Enjoyed it, but it’s not something I think I’d ever want to watch again.
