With this decision AT&T has hijacked one of the most respectable and important studios in film history. There is absolutely no love for cinema, nor for the audience here. It is all about the survival of a telecom mammoth, one that is currently bearing an astronomical debt of more than $150 billion. Therefore, even though “Dune” is about cinema and audiences, AT&T is about its own survival on Wall Street. With HBO Max’s launch a failure thus far, AT&T decided to sacrifice Warner Bros.’ entire 2021 slate in a desperate attempt to grab the audience’s attention. Denis went in

A movie being good ultimately matters more than how you see it

Has there been any word on whether there'll be a new primary antagonist for the new phase of the MCU? I don't have enough knowledge about the wider Marvel canon to say for certain, but at a guess they might go for the Beyonders?
Infinity War/Endgame opened up the franchise to Time Travel and multi verse theory. That appears to the route Thor 4 and Spiderman and taking. And the Doctor Strange Sequel is called Multiverse of Madness. What better villain than an alien race set upon destroying the Multiverse? Have Doom join the Avengers and away we go. Adam Warlock is teased for GotG 3. Team him up with Strange for the finale.

Yeah I always thought Doom or Galatcus would be the next big villain for the MCU as a whole after Thanos. But I don't know much about the comics universe either.
By Xpike Go To PostWat :lol
it just gets worse
You had 97-year-old Craig T. Nelson playing Mr. Incredible, something tells me Tim Allen's phone wasn't ringing
By LFMartins86 Go To PostHow much did they have to pay Javier to be in this movie
What????
Think it’s kinda wild how much of the Marvel and Star Wars content is TV. Like, who fuckin knew they’d go all in on telly
Wonder if covid had any impact on that, they've had 9 months to analyse how many of the chips they want to put on an industry that might not come out of the pandemic in a good position at all
Especially with Rise of Skywalker underperforming, that may have shaken theit confidence in Star Wars being such a tentpole release on name alone that they could just push ludicrously expensively produced shite out and break box office records without a worry.

Why is everyone focusing on the Little Mermaid when we are having a Chip & Dale movie done by 2/3 of Lonely Island and John Mulaney?

By blackace Go To PostI still believe that one day Andy Samberg will be funny,Palm Springs was one of the best surprises of the year. Its an old formula, but it worked and really liked the setting. Also, it was eerily relatable given the way the year has gone.
Perfect lockdown/isolation allegory.
By bud Go To Posti like him in brooklyn nine-nine.Cast carried tf outta him especially Chelsea Peretti
Reading an article about Disney's announcements and came across this...
Didn't realize this earlier but wow, Disney owns the Avatar sequels too? What the fuck lol
Likewise, Feige kept silent on progress of James Cameron’s Avatar sequels – set to premiere in 2022, 2024 and 2026 – which Disney acquired in its $71.3bn (£54bn) buyout of assets from 21st Century Fox in 2019.

By DiPro Go To Postyes, 2/3s of it.Pretty sure Comcast already agreed to sell their stake to them too... I mean being the majority owner wasn't much different but yeah they will only own 2/3 of it until 2024
