By reilo Go To PostNo Time To Die on Apple+? My body is ready. My LG C9 has been waiting for this.Disgusting.
bond is like highest quality of movie where i'd be fine with watching it at home but any better than that and i want the cinema experience.
cinemas better be around when dune comes out.

By Pennywise Go To PostDisgusting.Hey man, I'd love to catch this in a theater with allllll the Dolby Atmos things but I also don't want to die.
One could say... there's No Time To Die for No Time To Die.
By sy Go To PostWhy do euros like bond so much?what else do we got?
By sy Go To PostWhy do euros like bond so much?
this is why i want #dexit
Oh no, please don't release big movies in a format that will see them pirated within an hour. how terrible
By Wahabipapangus Go To Postjust someone buy dune already, thanksand having to watch it with streaming quality. yeah please no.
By sy Go To PostTapped out about 30 minutes into Borat 2.
Lightning can't strike twice.
I really enjoyed it. It’s not as consistently funny but Tutar’s a real find and I love it as just a study of people. The shit people feel comfortable or uncomfortable with is so interesting.
Would recommend if you’re on the fence. The end is brilliant.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostThat must be some crazy numbers. Movie was crazy expensive, we would probably be talking about 400 or 500M$.
Surely has to be more?
And thanks for the recommendations guys
By DiPro Go To Postand having to watch it with streaming quality. yeah please no.
surely if apple or whatever bought it, they could release it on blu ray too. pls thx
Borat 2 was good. Obviously not as funny as the first but shit like this never can be with how unique the original was. The actor who plays his daughter was very good and just as brave as Cohen is with his stunts. Couldn't believe how far they went with the ball dance.
By Kidjr Go To PostSurely has to be more?Yeah, thinking more about it and it has to be more, like around 600M to 700M.
And thanks for the recommendations guys
Skyfall was the biggest hit of the franchise at 1.1B, let's be optimistic and say that this one was going to do 1.2B for being the last for Daniel Craig.
Studio gets around 50% of that so it be 600M, the streaming service that gets it would probably have complete exclusivity over the movie so no DVD/Blu Ray, digital sales or TV rights so add another 100, 150M to that.
I'm assuming they will charge for the rental and not just include it for free with Apple+, but that'd be something if they did.

Yeah I felt a bit the same. Was a decent movie, but some of his weakest work so far I think.
But well Giuliani sure didnt know who Borats daughter was at least.

Dude must have been having financial troubles, first Tomb Raider 2 and now this.
His version of Rebecca is apparently bad.

Borat 2 is incredible. Having it revealed that he was the guy in the KKK hoodie from the cpac convention in February and no one stopped him at all....Wow wow wee way!
Been watching lots of horror/thriller films this month so far, here are my thoughts:
The Fog (1980) - I love Carpenter's films but this was ok. Creepy and atmospheric without actually being scary. Also, it was fun to see Jamie Lee Curtis and Janet Leigh in the same film :p
Halloween (2007) - yes the terrible Rob Zombie remake. Right from the get-go, he misunderstands what makes the original a horror classic and inserts a white trash family into the mix. Awful film. Had some decent kills but nah, not for me. I actually didn't like how brutal it was.
Sinister (2012) - This had some genuinely creepy moments particularly with the super 8 footage. The rest of the film was meh tho, not scary at all. I do like Ethan Hawke as an actor tho, think he's quite underrated (he's incredible in First Reformed btw)
What Keeps You Alive (2019) - The premise sounded intriguing but then you actually watch it and it turns out to have one of the most stupid protags in cinema history. Nope.
Insidious (2010) - This could have been a way more effective horror film if it didn't have the LOUD NOISE every 5 goddamn mins lol. Apart from that
the performances are pretty decent.

25 minutes into Unhinged and this is my movie of the year and just hilarious, the amount of times Russell Crowe could be turned into a GIF is truly incredible. He looks insane in pretty much every scene and I'm not sure if he's acting or not, plus he's gotta be about 346lbs.
By Punished* Go To PostI watched this movie and I have no clue what scene she's talking about
When Fassbender says "I'll do the fingering" in Alien Covenant 👏👏👏
oh wait that scene. I've never heard it called 'the butterfly scene'
Team #Netflix. I don’t want to sign up for yet another streaming service to watch one film/series. Offer them $500 Mil and close the deal.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostThe deal is apparently off, MGM wanted 600M and the offers were half of that.Oh well. I’ve been looking forward to Top Gun 2. Hoping Netflix or Amazon buy that film.
I saw it in an Imax theater today, I think there was 4 people there.
Certainly not Nolan's best and at one point i had to say to myself "I don't really know whats going on so i'll just accept it". It was fine.

Never had any reverence for any films from the 80s
Just watched Back to the Future and it's legitimately fucking great.

By Hitch Go To PostNever had any reverence for any films from the 80sWonderful film, a perfect blockbuster. Just think, we wouldn't have had Michael J Fox if it wasn't for Eric Stolz being terrible in the role (by all accounts on set)

By Blue Go To PostOh well. I’ve been looking forward to Top Gun 2. Hoping Netflix or Amazon buy that film.No chance of that happening, it would be on CBS Access (soon to become Paramount +) if they ever go that route.

the entire theater shouted NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
By Punished* Go To PostThe entirety of the first Borat. I don't think I've seen another film in a cinema that had so many people laughing so often

The Aristocrats, a group of older high class ladies occupying a bunch of seats in almost empty theater.
"It's a documentary called The Aristocrats, it must be good." says one of them.
Don't think they lasted 10 minutes before leaving with shocked faces while I was laughing like crazy.
Opening day of the Sex And The City movie, went with a friend of mine and her boyfriend.
There was probably 6 or 7 guys in the theater, the rest were all women.
A naked guy shows up in one scene and they go all crazy.
MCU and Star Wars fans can't make as much noise as the Sex And The City fandom, it was a pretty fun experience and the movie wasn't bad.
