By DY_nasty Go To PostInto the spider verse was good and wholesomeYup. Loved it. Only complaint from me or the gf is that watching it in the theater gave her a headache for some reason. She thinks it may just be because of the the techniques they used to film it.

Bad movie. You notice people only post like 3 gifs from it. those 6 seconds are the only good thing about the movie.
I know we're not supposed to talk about the old forums, but I really thought Speed Racer was just a gaf meme movie. It's just a bad movie, and it felt like that was the only place people talked about it like anything but that.
Nah it became a cult classic. I've seen reddit and other places talk about this "underappreciated" movie a lot too.

Bottom line – Peter Jackson and the team remastered the entirety of both trilogies (and extended editions), including the special effects, to make these masterpieces of cinema look as amazing and breathtaking on your modern devices as the day we saw them in the theater. And most likely a lot better!.
Oh man, I just re-watched the entire trilogy this year. It still held up extremely well so looking forward to rewatching this version in 10 years time.
Coming out in December, right? Might be the first 4k blu-ray I'll buy and watch on dat PS5+C9 combo. Vishnu bless me.

Hoping that corona makes alot of studios consider putting out more stuff on 4k.

A Tale Of Two Sisters
I can find Two Sisters to rent on Prime so I'll get round to that, not sure the other two are readily available.
Plan to watch the two other Kiyoshi Kurosawa's on BFI Player: Journey to the Shore and Creepy. Then there's a few Miike's there and a few of the classics I haven't seen - Kuroneko and Onibaba.
I don't know if anyone here has seen them but do they recommend the 1960 or 2010 version of the Housemaid? Bong Joon-Ho sez the original was an inspiration for Parasite.
Watched in the tall grass tonight, pretty naff. Would have worked better as a short, despite being just over 90 mins, it felt long af for some reason.
Alright
who does Anthony Starr end up playing in the MCU because we know its gonna happen. I'm saying Moon Knight.
