Weekly Release vs Binge Release?

It's a conversation that I've seen on twitter with the release of The Mandalorian which had a weekly release schedule vs something like Stranger Things or The Witcher, which release all their episodes at once.

Give me them all up front. I usually put off watching a series until it’s all wrapped up so I can box them all off in a week or two.
Depends on the quality and the genre for me.
Pro for all at once are pretty obvious, apart from being able to binge, the creators don't have to rely on cliffhangers that heavily.
Cons are clearly that you don't take time to think about what just happened and process it all.
Might be good for something that isn't top quality stuff or pretty straightforward, but I can't imagine binge watching Mr.Robot for example.

Imagine something like Lost without the speculation and shit that made the series big in the first place.

I don't have self-control so at least with a weekly release there's maybe 9 months before the next season starts. With binge watching, I have to wait an eternity.

I remember when House of Cards starting and watching everything back to back. Was amazing. I needed every next episode immediately because I could not wait.
But honestly, shows just become a blur when I watch them like that.
Feels better watching a show each week and digesting what was shown, and chatting with people about theories and shit.
