By Kawhic Go To Postthat's a surprisingly great list psy.I have great taste.
By /sy Go To PostI have great tastein music you do.
I am a bit disappointed that I don't have more female artists in my top 20.
Honorable mentions would be Angel Olsen, Solange, Sophie, Julie Byrne, Rosalia, James Blake, Vince Staples, Frank Ocean, Future, D'Angelo, Mac Miller, Freddie Gibbs, Polyphia, SZA, Vampire Weekend and more I'm forgetting.

By Kawhic Go To Postno Frank so far is surprising.Love a lot of his songs but I can't listen to Blonde or Chanel Orange without skipping at least a couple songs. Mostly everything in my top 20 and I can listen to straight through, which is rare for me.

I'm one of those assholes I can rarely do entire albums, i just pick and choose songs, so it will be hard to find the exceptions, as a result I'll probably post randomly at times in here if that's okay.
Here's one London Grammar - If You Wait:

By Kawhic Go To Postno Frank so far is surprising.Blonde is my #1 of the decade
I'll do a top 10 because there's so much to mention and so much that deserves a top spot.
The 10 albums from this decade this I've listened to most and keep coming back to are (in no particular order)
Dreamy vocals with a fresh and surprisingly deep synth wave sound. It's still fairly new but I've grooved to this one many, many times.
I always liked Hopsin but the moment this one dropped it was glued to my playlist like no other. I'm not usually a skit guy and this one has some of that but lyrically I can recite every word of it and still spin it again. Truly one of his best.
Honestly I can put both of their albums in my top 10 and I'd still be pondering of adding this one as well. Studio wise they sound great, his voice is crisp and can bring a good scream. But when I went to see them live something clicked and since then, this one is my go to for my fix.
I always knew him from Community but ever since Camp, Childish has been in rotation during gym and other stuff. Has many different styles and albums to choose from, but Camp is where it all started for me.
Love her voice and these chilling melodies it brings sometimes. Both albums are great, I just like this one more.
I liked Kendrick when King Kunta dropped but his albums never could take a hold on me. Until one night the vibe caught me good and hasn't left since then. Pimp a Butterfly & DAMN both deserve a spot, but King Kunta dawg.
I always liked metal growing up and Behemoth was good seeing live but I never really dug their studio stuff all that much.
In comes I Loved you at your Darkest with Darksi's best performance to date. Can't wait to see them live again next year.
Man, this dude can sing like nobodies business. Great musical melodies and catchy hooks are just but a tip of the iceberg that is My Dear Melancholy.
Heard it once on a small festival out in The Netherlands and it wedged itself in my mind like one of Khan's brain bugs.
Having finally tracked it down and hearing the rest, I never really got rid of it. Arba is a great album and it's teasers were worth the wait.
Why do I feel like doing shrooms again now when hearing that track again?
It's harder and harder to find quality darkstep releases these days but when PRSPCT came out with 15 years PRSPCT and the debut party of it, I was hooked. My knees might have taking a year's worth of damage but I still get the urge whenever one of these drops.

Probably forgot something obvious, but here's mine
Dillinger escape plan - Dissociation. The perfect swan song for a band that delivered the most inventive metal music for the last 20 years. This is masters at their craft, calling it quits when they were at the height of their careers.
Kimbra - Vows. Probably my favorite pop album of the decade.
The Black Queen - Fever Daydream. This is a close second on the favorite pop list though.
Daughters - You Won't Get What You Want. Daughters returns and with this? Amazing.
Deafheaven - Sunbather. Hipster metal, gotta love it.
The Armed - Only Love. The armed added a female vocalist, and got ever weirder.
Death Grips - The Money Store. This guy fucks the music.
Gojira - Magma. Baguettes.
The Armed - Untitled. This is almost as good as Only Love.
Mastodon - Once More 'Round the Sun. Not most peoples favorite Mastodon album of this decade I know, but I love it.
Between the Buried and Me -The Parallax II: Future Sequence.
Architects - All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us
All our gods have abandoned us was always amazing. But when you not long after, realized their guitarist and main song writer (and twin brother of the drummer) was dying at the time, it hit a little deeper. Was released right around the time I legitimately thought I was dying (and sooner rather than later), so was quite powerful.
😪

The weight of the world is resting on thin ice
When the surface breaks, will I find paradise?
As I freeze to death, left to reflect
What a waste of time I was in retrospect
I'd take a leap of faith, but I'd lose my nerve
In the end, I'll get the hell that I deserve
A sickness with no remedy
Except the ones inside of me
You ever wonder how deep you could sink into nothing at all?
Disintegrate, annihilate me
If I could silence all the doubt in me
Accept that what is meant to be is meant to be
You ever wonder how deep you could sink into nothing at all?
Disintegrate, annihilate me
😪
Did they just play badly? Saw them a few months ago, and was it's certainly in my top 10 concerts of all time. Amazing energy, and their singer was on top of the crowd half the time (even straight up french kissing some random lad there at one point, then moments later vomiting on the stage). Was certainly messy and should have had a health warning on the ticket. But cool and good.
Sadly we werent (nsfw) this lucky

Daughter's rocked at arctangent. Wooden happy to see parallax there, it's going to make my list too. They played half the album when I saw them in October. Telos live oh my
Daughters are fuckin dope. Saw them in Phoenix a few weeks ago and they were amazing. The show didn't get as graphic as I've heard their shows get but they had great energy and it was a lot of fun. I really could listen to this album endlessly

By data Go To PostYa'll should listen to Chat Pile if you like the rambling to heavy guitars
The first minute has just been one of the lamest drum parts I've ever heard, followed by a St Anger b-side riff.
Does it get better?

Con Todo El Mundo
Only The Universe Smiles Upon You should make a decade list imo. But yeah, lovely band. Played it a bit too much in the store so I rarely listen to it these days.
