He was. In his first full season he was often criticized as a good dribbler but a bad finisher. He was constantly hitting the crossbar and barely missing chances. But he was making a ton of chances regardless.

Cunts or not, an underdog team will always be more romantic than a team like Liverpool. We haven’t been underdogs for a few years now, so we’re seen as the big bad.
Also helps that the Liverpool team has a likeable manager and a few likeable players.
