Going into the election it wasn't likely Labour were going to win & a Conservative government was already pretty much a given. No counterarguments were made about culture just a lot of opinions & people making some offensive assumptions. The whole culture thing is about intangibles and it gets nasty because time after time people get exposed for their racism or general fear of "the other". Safest bet is to assume the worst whenever someone can't articulate their reasons for feeling "their culture is eroded away". No one is going to admit to racism being their reason so only vapid shit remains.

People having different cultures isn't intangible, many cultures have opposing & extreme views on how they treat women, sex, abortion, arranged marriages, what clothes are deemed appropriate to wear, whether it's okay to be gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, gun laws, toxic masculinity, the death penalty, drugs, racism, hitting children, what should be taught in school. Saying you prefer how your own culture does things doesn't make you racist & making generalisations about people who say that is vapid, lazy & offensive.

I strongly hate American gun culture, millions of people have been killed or injured because of it & the effects it has on the families involved are equally as mentally devastating. Things aren't getting any better either it's only getting worse as time goes by.
I also hate how a notable amount of the American police force is racist, they target black people & brutalize & shoot minorities under the guise of self-defense.
Last year parts of America passed laws making it illegal to get an abortion, not only do i find this incredibly backward but it's taking away a basic right of women. It's so bad that even if a woman is raped she's not allowed to have an abortion. Next year looks set to get even worse as instead of abortion being decided on a state by state basis, religious nut jobs are going to try & make abortion illegal nationwide.
Those are my opinions about certain aspects about American culture, does that make me racist against Americans?

I mock racists, sexists, while fully understand quite a few of my real life friends and relatives are that way myself.
Sometimes I feel that's human. As much as I hate it, some dont have my perspectives, or quality of life. Some dont get how other cultures or like LBGT people for example, wont hurt them or cause hurt to society. At the very least, I dont think responding negatively helps, so it's when I see I can add something without making them think I'm fully against them, and hopefully it changes their view bit by bit.
Sometimes it feels hypocritical or cowardly, but I think it's the best way while having peace with them.
Also that's not culture. There's really nothing special with how they feel. Time and time again we find those that are different to blame and most of the reasons are quite the same in any culture. How to stamp on it, or how to at least curb it is another matter.
