The racism incident is one thing, not at all entirely what I’d attribute to me saying the fans of shit. The throwing of objects again is something that obviously wasn’t just one person but it’s hardly been a real recurring problem at the club.
The empty seats regardless of occasion (I mean, seeing empty seats for an enormous game last night/the champions league games in the latter stages...) is embarrassing and there’s often a real lack of atmosphere at City games that I struggle to understand. This is a club that has went from 0-60 very recently but you wouldn’t think so from listening to the games, it’s all just so...muted.

I think the Telegraph quotes £40 million, which is chump change to what a good defender would go for in the current market
I honestly think left back is more of a concern - Azpi's best days are behind him and the other two aren't good enough defensively. We will most likely have to wait until summer to sort that our though, so getting Ake back would be a good start.

They need more than that imo, could certainly use a left back but I really think they need a proper backup striker. Giroud can still do it for France with the amazing service he gets, he can’t do it at Chelsea and Bats...well....he just isn’t very good.

Yep. But pretty sure none of that is happening in January. A keeper that doesn't play to U17 level would also be nice. So just ride this season out as originally planned, and hope for a CL spot in the end. Those who proven themselves by the end, can stay out of the #loanarmy (thinking Reece James, Mount, Tomori and Abraham mostly here).
