By Perfect Blue Go To PostApparently he gave a Nazi salute during some radio show a week or so ago when he thought the mic was cut off. Today EA took him out of FIFA 20.
It was on matchday on tv. Another guy did an interview with a German manager. They did the interview in German. Then they switched back to the studio while Van Basten probably thought they still had some seconds left. You don’t see him but between switching from the stadium to the studio you hear him jokingly say “sich heill”. It was a bad joke in poor taste. But it seems a bit extreme there’s so much to do about it.

Player - de Gea. Nuff sed. Although the one season we got out of RvP was worth the malaise that has followed
Game - 8-2 was banter, but the little run under LVG where Fellaini decimated all-comers was sublime. 2-1 at Anfield with Mata’s scissor kick and Gerrard’s sending off might be the best I’ve ever seen us play.
Goal - Evra against Bayern made me shoot out of my seat with fucking joy. Those 73 seconds... bliss.
Disappointment - selling Rafael, Kagawa, Welbeck all in the space of a year. All my favourites fuckin’ gone. Oh, and letting Park go to QPR. Whoever sanctioned that should be tried in the Hague.
Memory - the one that stands out unfortunately is watching us beat Sunderland, then using the shitty touchscreen work computer to load up QPR v City just in time for Balotelli to poke it through to Aguero. I can vividly remember every second of it.
Underrated signing - Blind. Was better than people gave him credit for, and would improve us even now.
From the Athletic. Summarises things well, I think. United were a mess long before Mourinho arrived, but he furthered the problems by spending obscene amounts on players, most of whom were crap. The football we played was terrible and he did nothing to build towards a way of playing that would benefit us down the road.
As the months have passed, a strange sort of nostalgia has begun to take hold of Mourinho’s legacy at Manchester United. Was it really quite so bad?
On one hand, he led United to the EFL Cup and Europa League in his first season and finished second in the Premier League in year two, which he continues to cite as one of his great achievements. On the other, he spent £420 million in the transfer market (£310 million net) without ever threatening to develop any real sense of long-term progression. The football was pragmatic at best, turgid at worst and, while the same can certainly be said of performances under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the persistent rot does not reflect well on the job done by the man whom Woodward, the executive vice-chairman, giddily lauded as “quite simply the best manager in the world today”.
RVP 2012-13 is my answer to all my favorite things about this decade for United. I still can’t believe they sold him to us.
Biggest disappointment is Woodward. Fucking assclown

He would. Massive understatement.
Blind is full trash dog. Never seen someone fail to do basic defending on anything from corners to open play as much as him. An actual good decision from Mou for once.

•Player of the decade: Ronaldo. There isn't much else to say.
(Points if you know which game this was - Ronaldo fucking CRUSHED them that day lol)
•Game of the decade: The comeback games. So many games during the 2016 season where we came from behind to win in the last minute - how many times did Rams score a header in the final minutes? How many times we come back from 2-3 goals deficit? How many times did Ronaldo save us? How many times did Zidane's B team worked out? This picture sums it up:
•Goal of the decade: 92:48, Ramos, CL final against Atletico. That goal gave us not only La Decima but it revived the soul of Madrid, that we will not give up until the last second.
•Biggest disappointment of the decade: Morata who had the making of being a great #9, who could have learned so much from Benzema - how to link and hold up and so on. Yet, his finishing was horrid, his decision making was disgusting and his mentality - his biggest flaw IMO - is weak af. He did well with Castilla too. Honerable mention: Losing the league to Barcelona with either +1/+3 point difference due to either injury or fatigue. Contrarily to popular belief we've had great league runs over the years as well as CL runs, but either Modric got injured, Bale got injured or we fucked it up to Valencia or some other mid-table team.
(look how he's crying WHILE we're celebrating our leage win during a double winning season FFS lol)
•Best memory of the decade: Crushing Liverpool, decisively, giving us our 3rd CL trophy in a row all while everyone was calling Zidane a patato manager and how he's just lucky. I didn't give a fuck about the league or CDR that year, we made history upon history by winning the CL for a 3rd time in a row with our own legend at the helm to boot. Incredible feeling really, my favorite competition. Honerable mention: Mourinho's team... We were crushing opponents left and right, our counter-attacking was unstopable, teams couldn't figure it out. Mourinho put a soft-stop to Barca dominance, but more iportantly still, Mourinho gave us that hunger, the fight needed to win again. I will always contribute our CL success in recent years to Mourinho.
•Most underrated signing of the decade: Casemiro. Without him I'm confident non of this success would have happened, he truly brought balance and an understanding to this team - that while you can have galactico signings scoring goals you need to also have someone crush any opponent coming at him. Honerable mention: Kroos - people were saying how he's finished and "lolroos" but he's one of the best midfielders today, if not the best midfielder right now. People should be paying more attention, him and Odegaard/Fede are the next duo in-line with Xavi/Iniesta and Kroos/Modric. I can't believe Bayern let him go.
What an amazing decade it's been. While frustrating at times because of Xavi/Iniesta or Messi/Neymar and their dominance of the league, I still think we did very well - all things considering. Most importantly it looks like we're setup very well going forward. I'm excited about the younglings and Zidane being at the helm again.

Player of the decade
That's probably gotta be Hakim Ziyech. Been our best player for a few years running and is our one true magician.
Game of the decade
Real Madrid - Ajax (1-4). That game was the start of our European journey. After a loss in Amsterdam (even though we were even, maybe even better) I was just hoping for a decent game from the lads. There would be no shame in being kicked out of a tournament by the club that won the previous three editions. And then the 1-4 happened. A magical game in which everything seemed to be just right for us. Even after conceding the 1-3 we scored an amazing freekick pretty much right after.
Goal of the decade
This is a tough one over a whole decade. I'm gonna go with Schöne's goal against Celtic in the 2013/2014 season. It was the kind of goal that had our DNA written all over it. One touch passes at an incredibly high pace involving quite a few of our players. The kind of stuff you expect to see on pornhub.
Biggest disappointment of the decade
No European football in the 2017/2018 season. The season after we reached the EL finale and the season before we reached the CL semis. We got knocked out by Nice in the CL qualifiers. And then we got beat by Rosenborg of all clubs for the EL qualifiers.
Best memory of the decade
The title deciding game on the last matchtday of the 2010/2011 season. Before the game Twente was on top of the table with 71 points, we were at 70. Then we won the game 3-1 with two great goals from Siem de Jong. This was our first title since 2004, so you can imagine the impact this one had given all the circumstances.
Most underrated signing of the decade
Lasse Schöne. We got him for free from NEC. Expected just another squad player. Ended up staying 7 years and being one of our key players most of the time. Every time he ended up on the bench he just kept quiet, worked hard and knocked his way back into the team. Just an all around great guy.

- Defoe. For how little time he was here the effect he had on the club on and off the pitch was tremendous.
- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFqri_qG-_w 3-1 at home to Spurs. We absolutely fucking battered them. Bent had two penalties saved, scored two, Anton Ferdinand had a goal disallowed for nowt (but still did a Moonwalk celebration, scenes) and Bolo Zenden scored an unreal volley. Best result? Nah. Biggest result? Nope. Great performance though, really wouldn't have been unfair if we'd won 7-1.

Fellaini was shit. One of the worst players I've ever seen in a United shirt. His passing and mobility were so poor that he couldn't be used as a midfielder. His best performances for us were under LVG as a target man and even then that was only for half a dozen games. He was quickly worked out the opposition.
The fact that he popped up with the odd winning goal should not detract from is utter ineptitude as a footballer. Solksjaer was right to bin him.

He wans't easy on the eye, but added steel to our centre and got us more clutch goals than you want to admit.
Seriously, some of you deserve this Perreira/ Lingard future.
He won us quite a few games though. I consider him underrated because how effective he is in the box. We have also mismanaged him so much when we made a no. 10 as a defensive midfielder.
I wouldn't mind if he stayed as long as he is used as a subtitute, but unfortunately he wanted to play more, Mou rated him, we started to play even more deep, combining in some of the worst football we have played that he's culpable of.
I like Ole's stubborness in attempting to play attacking football, but the lack of a plan B hurts us a lot this year.

Fellaini is crap and a perfect example of the post-Fergie era's lack of a cohesive play style or identity. Whenever things weren't working, LVG and Mourinho put on Fellaini out of desperation because he was the only plan B. He is a terrible footballer and the fact that Perreira and Lingard are just as bad if not worse, does not detract from Fellaini's lack of ability.
Fellaini isn't a terrible footballer. His strengths are just seen as undesirable at the elite level.
He may have been crap but he was the best plan B United had, and loofing balls towads his direction worked more times than it should have to be honest.

LMAO, Fellaini wasn't Plan B, spoken again from someone who hasn't bothered watching us play in the past 6 years. He was Plan A, B & C most times.
He was never a terrible footballer but he had the effect of being the instant go to at any sign of trouble, and that limited our other options immensely, so of course he had to go. He both got the sharp end of the stick from the fans even when he wasn't the worst footballer to ever live, but at the same time he got way more opportunities than he ever should have so it balanced out.
