Oy rvy how's Gedson Fernandes?
Stewart Donald looking to sell the club asap. Sensational late christmas present.
Unless he actually does go full Mike Ashley.

By Frustrated_me Go To PostBless you Alfanso for this little invention, barely got any good sleep (again!) and waking up to this little gem is a joy, it makes really good coffee. It's not espresso, it's not an Americano - it's a nice blend of both. Given that it's raining ice (literally), the coffee tastes extra good today.
Welcome to the Italian way of life.
By Laboured Go To PostOy rvy how's Gedson Fernandes? That news has to be planted by his agent, Gedson barely plays for Benfica this days.
By Mystikal McGhee Go To Postman is a legend for thatthank the lad that completely skied his penalty then started to blame the pen spot

By Mystikal McGhee Go To Postwe're getting somewhere now pennySchalke had a player called Max Meyer. He played quite well and when the talks about the extension were hard, the agent demanded an absurd amount of money, saying he's a world class player (he wasn't), he could play for any club in the world.
He didn't extend his contract.
Guess where he ended up? Crystal Palace. Sitting on the bench.
By Scum Go To PostZabo, m8. You have an Acer X34, right? 🤔
The Alienware I got is apparently the same panel. It's also cool and good. Would recommend.

uhh, I don't buy it. Seems out of character. I mean Weigl is not a primeira liga player, like... not at all lmao.
why would he come to this shithole country and shithole league at 23 or whatever he is.

Well, he will definitely be a starter and Benfica has sold players to big clubs in the past.
Probably Benfica told him they are making a big push for the Europa League and the Champions League next season.

Regular games, CL, maybe the upper managment and the coach also convinced him with the plans.
Problem with Weigl is, he played a huge role under Tuchel. Possession based footy was exactly his thing, especially when he had wingers and fullbacks that went down the line. His diagonal balls are pretty damn good.
After Tuchel was gone, we've had Bosz who is full on pressing, Stöger who had to stabilize the team again after Bosz and now Favre, who is also playing a system that isn't really Weigls thing, but he still had some good games.
So he never made the step forward that people expected. His weak points are still there. Not like he can get faster, but his body still looks like a 16 year old dude who went to the gym for 4 weeks.
Think that's also something that speaks for Portugal or Spain.
I think he's trying to take a step to the side, to be able to make a step forward again. Not a bad move for him.
More suprised about Benfica spending that much money on him.
He will not get past Witsel and Delaney will also be back soon, now that Brandt is playing as CM quite often, that leaves only 1 DM.

weigl would fit like a glove in Lage's system.
I just don't see him coming. He's too young, he's too good and he's too expensive for our reality. The only way I believe it is if Witsel and Guerreiro spoke to him about the club, otherwise it makes no sense for a young, good Bundesliga player to move to us. He could move to better leagues and clubs with more money to spare.

EPL is not happening, as he's not the physical type.
I actually like the idea. He will play alot and might get the chance to take the next step.
