By domino Go To PostVAR is just fucking awful. Clubs need to vote that shit out for next season
Clubs voted for VAR.
But they didn't get the VAR they wanted.
VAR is basically Brexit at this point.
It's shite and its ruining the game. No one can seriously support this shite.

You honestly think clubs want players being ruled offside for a toe?
What happened to clear and obvious errors? This nit picking is killing the game.
By Feorax Go To PostOffside VAR needs to be clear and obvious error threshold at this point too.But then what's the threshold for clear and obvious? It'll still be marginal, the only difference will be where the line is drawn. Right now it just seems wrong, even if it's objectively adhering to the rules.
i actually hate these offside decisions. it made me turn the game off and i probably wont put it back on.
its a fucking farce
its a fucking farce
By bacon Go To PostWhat resolution are the cameras again? That looked really pixelated.
It's actually killing me how many people complain about VAR offside decisions. This is the most black and white case for VAR, even 1 micron offside should be offside, armpit hair, toe nails, whatever. The amount of fans who keep saying "marginal" and "change the rules to accomodate the attacker". Offside decision should be like hawkeye in tennis, it's either in or out, there's no "it's so close, give it to the poor lad who scored".
Now we have people complaining about picking the wrong frame or drawing the wrong line, absurd.

Every Man City title win was meaningless because they bought them, now Liverpool's title win will be meaningless because they did it with luck. The beautiful game of football has never been more alive.
By Xpike Go To Postthats an absolutely shit decision by var thereBoris and Brexit.
is it even subtle that the british are braindead
All evidence

Premier League clubs side with referees and back VAR despite fans’ gripes
14 Nov 2019
Premier League clubs have chosen to avoid drastic action over VAR, with only the smallest of tweaks in the communication of decisions expected before the season’s end.
The referee’s chief, Mike Riley, gave club executives an extensive briefing on the technology during a Premier League meeting in London on Thursday. A lengthy discussion followed, but the consensus among clubs remains in favour of video refereeing and the outcome of the meeting was more of the same.
Big thanks to Kidjr for getting me a ticket to the game. Top bloke.
First home lose I have suffered. :(((
Quality effort in the first half. Luiz was immense, and Auba put in a great stint.
Ref was awful, amazed Chelsea ended the game with ten players.
As much as I like Reiss, he can’t start against United. Need Pepe on.
Glad you recognise my Italianess.

How can we get crystal clear images of starts millions of miles away but this is across a football pitch.
i honestly cannot fathom people who enjoy how VAR has effected the game. and no matter what they say, i will never understand them.
imagine being ok with a goal being disallowed because of a margin so incredibly fine that it is utterly irrelevant

Wolves approached the refs in the tunnel over a potential hand ball by VVD in the lead up to Mane's goal.
VAR has looked and said it's "inconclusive"
It's pathetic. PATHETIC how on one hand it can't be sure but on the other it can be sure about a toe being offside.

It's just fucking shit when you can't even celebrate anymore and have to wait until a decision is made.

I didn't want to make that point xd but I'm not gonna disagree with you, penny.
