By Hixx Go To Posti'm sorry i dont know when you're pretending to be dumb or not because… well…Messi missed 8 games at the start of the season

It's quite straight forward isn't it
@laboured
Should have watched the Beach Football World Cup Final instead of Sporting (Portugal won).
We were back to being shit after 3 wins in a row, Ilori is brain dead.
Most ridiculous thing of the match was on the 90th minute. Doumbia hits a Gil Vicente player on the forehead which makes him bleed, ref says play on.
Ball goes off, VAR checks it and there was a penalty but it wouldn't count as there was an offside on the start of the play.
The ref signs it was offside but gives Doumbia a second yellow and he is sent off.
Bruno Fernandes then goes to the assistant referee and explains that VAR can only check for straight red cards and not second yellow cards and as VAR had declared that there was an offside, they could only interfere if it was a straight red.
Assistant referee realizes that Bruno is right, calls the ref who realizes his mistake and they go and get Doumbia back from the locker room.
It was the dumbest thing I ever seen.

I actually think its better to have a better mins per goal-assist ratio with more minutes because it shows you’ve been even more consistent.

The gap between Solksjaer and someone who could possibly make them title challengers is gargantuan and full of dozens of managers.
The thought that it's not worth improving on him until there's been huge change above the manager's position is crazy to me. When Hodgson was here everything was shit, ownership, players and management. That didn't make him worth persisting with, and he's ten times the manager Solksjaer is.
'Not brilliant but obviously better than what we have' was good enough to spend £130m on Maguire and Wan Bissaka, but the same standards can't be applied to the manager for some reason.

edit: I think the best part is how I'm taking this. Not even the least bit surprised.
By batong Go To PostI think deep down we're all morbid;y curious how bad this can get.
If you said to me we’ll sack Solskjaer and hire Pochettino I’d take it in a second. I’m not stupid, i’m just sentimental. But if it meant we’d improve and play better football and have more fun, sure.
Doesn’t mean i can’t acknowledge the good Solskjaer is doing, and that I have curbed my expectations in accordance of where we are as a club. I don’t think we have a god-given right to be title challengers. I think a lot of blame has to lie at a lot of other people’s feet before Solskjaer.
Solskjaer is also a club legend who is playing a lot of youth players and who has made smart signings. None of this applied to Roy Hodgson’s time at Liverpool.

lol Solskjaer is one of the worst coaches in the league.
'b-b-but he won the godguttekopp with Kon-Tiki in his first season'
'b-b-but he won the godguttekopp with Kon-Tiki in his first season'
So Solskjaer gets a pass for having one of the worst win rates in the league because he's an ex-pro that plays young players (who aren't particularly good)?
Makes sense.
How low do United have to sink before a decision is made? You can't look to his past experience and make the argument things will get better, you would end up having to face it likely could get much worse based on his previous PL experience.
How much input has he actually had on signings? I thought Ed was running the show in that regard, seemed for a long time pre-Ole that United were certain to sign Maguire and AWB. James was a smart signing who is performing above expectations, I'll say that.
By all means though, please, keep him for a long time.

Even n8 acknowledges that getting Poch would be better while knowing the good he does at the club.
I'm just going to try and enjoy this terrible season. It's not like I can fire Woodward, get a DoF, and also Poch.

159 million euros spent during the Summer, 22 points away from league leaders, 14 away from Leicester, 6 above relegation, 4 victories in 14 PL games.
All UTD needs is to win 4 in a row.

Or instead of hiring someone who looked completely like he had no fucking clue what he was doing on the bench yesterday, we could have hired an actual qualified manager.
I'd even take Bruce Rioch back on the bench.

He's getting a pass from a ton of people, G.Nev tweeted yesterday he 'deserves' 3-4 more transfer windows? Deserves? Why? He's incredibly lucky to have gotten anywhere near the United job on a permanent basis, he doesn't deserve anything except for the sack. He's also, most importantly, getting a pass from the board and I just cannot for the life of me understand why.
The results have been absolutely awful, the performances haven't been much better. United have totally lost their gravitas on and off the pitch, no team fears them home or away, Ole is, tactically, far behind pretty much every manager in the league. I can't see how any player would respect him. Poch is just sat there, and...nothing. The whole situation is just insane to me.
By Daz Go To PostWho else is giving him a pass apart from his mate and maybe his nan?

If it does happen, I’d be stunned if he came in Jan. Klopp only really moves in January for players vital to the club like Virg.

Salah has been...off...for a while now. Bobby likewise has seen his goals dry up (though he contributes far more than just that), the front 3 might need some kind of rejuvenation/actual competition, Liverpool of all seasons cannot let this slip(heh). Bringing in real quality in Jan to get it over the line might not be a bad shout.

Not giving him a pass. I’m just arguing his presence or sacking isn’t the be all and end all of either my happiness with the club or the rage ar my club.
Again, if we were to go for Pochettino, then I’d sack Ole in a second. We’d still be stuck with one striker, our two best CMs being a wantaway and an average as fuck player and both being injured, an incompetent chief exec and parasitic owners. Ole is the least of my worries.
I know I’m odd, but I’m not as fussed with winning as most people seem to be. If football was all about winning, then it would be pointless for 95% of clubs’ fans, considering only a fair few do actually win things. There’s more to life than the three points.

Well I think, and I think you'd agree, that your perspective is an unusual one. Completely valid of course, but it seems to some degree what you view as important doesn't line up with what you'd expect from the majority of football fans.
If we're not winning for an extended period of time it's fucking miserable, I don't care who the manager is, how well we're playing etc etc. And I say that as a fan of a club that doesn't win and hasn't been used to winning for a long time. It's especially rare to see your perspective from someone who is a fan of the most successful club in PL history. again, it's totally valid but not typical. I don't think Gary Neville thinks like that and yet...Ole deserves 4 more transfer windows...?
What I will say is that RE the squad/transfers, Ole made it very clear both in the summer and through this season that he was content with his business and was content with the squad. The blame for the single striker and the poor midfield has to rest on him, things started going tits up for Mourinho when he started getting pissed off that he couldn't get the players he wanted. He wasn't happy with his squad and nor should he have been. Seems like Ole was a good little boy and took his new players without question.
By n8 dogg Go To Postthe regulation zone is indeed dreadful
😂😂 I'm not even fixing that autocorrect
I do worry about people's reading comprehension on this site.
It's been explained dozens of times now that Manchester United's biggest problems are a thin squad with too many injuries as well as Woodward who has done a piss poor job of bringing in enough players each transfer window. Yet here we are every day with the same people screaming sack Solskjaer when he has done far more good than bad. It's genuinely mind boggling to watch people who don't have a clue talk with such conviction.

Because he didnt kick up a fuss doesn't mean he was happy heading into a new season with a weaker squad than the previous season with no replacements for Herrera, Lukaku, Fellaini or Sanchez.
A midfield of Fred and AP is cancer pub-levels. Injury ravaging an already thin squad is a fucked situation we should never have been in, but we have Ed Woodward in charge of negotiations.

If you can point to any times he indicated he wasn't happy I'd be interested in seeing it, even if you found any tweets suggesting he wasn't happy with it behind the scenes, because I don't think I've seen any
He publicly stated many times that he was happy, now that obviously happens a lot, but it also usually comes with a lot of rumblings from behind the scenes that suggests the opposite. I've seen nothing to the contrary.
